A feeling of déjà vu.
"I'll go first."
After God had left, Flossie Wright did not explain to Glenn Hutchinson, and prepared to leave immediately.
But, just as she stepped forward, Glenn Hutchinson caught her shoulder, directly turning her around to face him.
"Do you know Perry Reed?"
Bowing her head, Glenn Hutchinson gazed intently, locking eyes with Flossie Wright.
His look was filled with scrutiny and inquiry.
"Mm."
Flossie Wright affirmed.
This was something Glenn Hutchinson already knew; to deny it now would mean trouble.
"Then," pausing briefly, Glenn Hutchinson narrowed his eyes and asked in a deep voice, "do you know Erina Taylor?"
"I know of her."
With a slightly cooler look in her eyes, Flossie Wright maintained a steady voice.
She had anticipated that Glenn Hutchinson would realize, but she hadn't expected him to directly ask her about Erina Taylor.
Of course, she hadn't imagined he would still remember Erina Taylor.
