Liliana Prutoz and Eleanor Mckenzie had gone to bed late and were now asleep in a bed.
There were also Iris Dukes and Chloe Bell, one on the top bunk and the other on the bottom, both hidden under their blankets without a stir.
They were sleeping soundly.
Flossie Wright came back after washing up and having some Steamed Buns, then woke up the drowsy Iris Dukes.
Without waiting for her, Flossie Wright left directly with Belinda Nichols.
It was half an hour until nine o'clock, so Flossie Wright and Belinda Nichols went to run a few laps on the parade ground first.
When the assembly whistle sounded, they joined the crowd in gathering on the parade ground.
"Beep— Beep— Beep—"
Joshua Bailey's whistle never stopped blowing in his hand.
Not until everyone had arrived, did he leisurely put down the whistle.
"Now that everyone is here, just follow me," he said.
After a cursory glance at the people in the ranks, Joshua Bailey waved his hand at them.
