Qing Qi breathed a quiet sigh of relief when Su Ran stepped in to defuse the situation for her.
"Human, don't just stand there pretending it's easy. Look at me—tied up like this, surviving is a miracle in itself. And you expect me to retrieve equipment? Are you kidding me?"
The Fire Spirit was almost amused to the point of anger by Su Ran's words. "Take it or leave it. I've only got this one key!"
"Senior, that was my oversight. In your current state, you can basically say farewell to bicycles. By the way, can you tell me where I could find this special silver treasure chest?"
Su Ran cast a look of pity at the Fire Spirit, almost tempted to ask, "With pants that tight, how do you deal with nature's calls?"
But as the words reached his lips, he remembered there were women present. Asking this would be a bit inappropriate. He swallowed the words back down and glanced at the Fire Spirit's lower half again, his expression turning peculiar.
