"Haha, kid, you're amusing. You're qualified to be my opponent. Indeed, there's no such rule."
This was an unspoken tradition, not officially written anywhere, so Du You wasn't wrong. But challenging someone at a higher tier was universally seen as an act of arrogance and overestimation.
"You can call me Black Fog, kid. What do they call you?" The swirling black fog spoke.
"You can just call me Anyin," Du You said calmly, without disclosing his real name.
In places like this, no one would reveal their true name. Giving out a name wasn't inherently dangerous, but it could expose certain details. If they encountered someone proficient in prophecy, their secrets could be bared.
Even though no one dared to assault others here, precautions were still necessary.
