Chapter 12 - 12. Town And Tyragrus!

As they wandered through the town, Yuru, Nami, and Cruset explored shops, bought various items, and experienced the everyday life of the villagers. Yuru was clearly enjoying herself, her eyes filled with curiosity and wonder.

"Princess Yuru, are you liking it here? Are you enjoying yourself?" Cruset asked with a knowing smile.

Yuru nodded enthusiastically. "Yes! It's fun. I've never been outside the palace, so this is a new and exciting experience."

Cruset smiled and said, "I'm glad. Well, it'll be only another 3 years, and then you'll be able to leave the palace whenever you want."

Nami, Yuru, and Cruset continued their exploration of the town, but soon they heard terrified screams and panicked villagers rushing toward them.

"Run! It's a wild Tyragrus, and it's coming our way!" shouted a terrified villager, the panic spreading among the crowd.

The three of them turned their attention to the distance, spotting a fearsome wild beast approaching. Nami's expression grew serious as he assessed the situation.

"We might have some trouble," he warned.

(Huh! what happened, why are they running away. Are they running away from something? It looks like that way.)

"Run it's a wild Tyragrus..." A villager shouted as they passed Yuru.

(A Tyragrus, what's that? is that some kind of a monster that I've never seen.)

"Is that what they're running away from" Yuru asked as she spotted the Tyragrus. Nami replied, "Yes, that's a Tyragrus I believe you've never seen it before. But they can be quite strong and dangerous." Yuru looked at it again, and this time she said, "But... but it looks so cute."

(So that's a Tyragrus, it looks like a huge Tiger with big fangs and a small tail. It looks cute, I wonder if I can pet it.)

Yuru's innocent admiration for the wild Tyragrus left Nami and Cruset in disbelief.

Nami and Cruset both exclaimed, "WHAT!" when Yuru declared the fearsome creature as "cute."

As Yuru jumped with excitement, Nami tried to clarify, "Are you saying that Tyragrus is cute?" Yuru enthusiastically replied, "Yes! It's so cute. Can I keep it as a pet?"

Nami and Cruset both looked at each other in disbelief and Nami replied. "It's not that rare to keep a Tyragrus as a pet, but it will only obey you if you defeat it in battle. But can you keep it as a pet, I don't know about that...?"

(So if I can beat it, it will obey as its owner. Fine let's just do that.)

Cruset jumped in with a sense of urgency. "We don't have enough time to discuss that. The Tyragrus is running towards us. If we don't do something, it might tackle us. Princess Yuru get behind or it might be dangerous."

In a display of bravery, Yuru ignored their warnings and started running toward the Tyragrus. "No! Don't go near it," Nami shouted with concern. Cruset also joined in, imploring, "Princess, wait! It's dangerous."

As Yuru got close to the Tyragrus, it stopped and locked it's eye on Yuru. It started charging an attack, Yuru waited and watched as she was focusing on a magic spell. The Tyragrus rammed towards Yuru as fast as it could. But Yuru unfazed waited for it to get close.

(As it charges towards me, I will stop it will block, then I'll use brute strength to pick it up and toss it. This way it won't be much harmful.)

Nami and Cruset watched from the sides as they watched in awe as she used her magic to stop the charging Tyragrus and then tossed it aside, defeating the beast without causing it serious harm.

(Went according to my plan.)

Seeing Yuru's magical abilities, Cruset had a hint of admiration in her eyes. "You are amazing, Princess Yuru! I'm actually stunned" she exclaimed. Yuru approached the defeated Tyragrus and used her magic to heal its injuries. As the creature woke up, it seemed calm and looked at Yuru as its master, and now that it was calm its size shrank to about a size of a regular cat.

(Wow! it can shrink in size, now it's even more cuter.)

Nami was equally surprised by Yuru's powers and the instant bond she had formed with the Tyragrus. He turned to Cruset and said, "Well, it seems Yuru found herself a new friend."

Yuru, still ecstatic about her new "pet," gently picked up the Tyragrus and held it in her arms. "I'll name you Tiger," she said with a bright smile.

(It's not like anyone knows what a Tiger in this world.)

"Well she looks happy, guess we have to keep it now." Nami said, as he watched Yuru's expressions. "Well, it's about time we should leave."

"Let's go Yuru, let's meet up Cedric and Kael at the Caravan. And thank you Cruset for accompanying us today. I see you next time." Nami said and left the town to meet at the caravan Yuru also had something to say to Cruset. "Thank you for today. I enjoyed myself, I would love to meet you again. But well that probably won't happen until I'm 10, so goodbye."

"Prince Nami and Princess Yuru are you two both alright. I heard there was a Wild Tyragrus causing rampage in the town." Cedric asked with a concerned look. "We're alright." Nami replied.

"Princess what's that thing you're holding in your arms." Kael asked Yuru as she was boarding the caravan. "This, it's the Tyragrus that was causing rampage. And now also my new pet." Yuru said excitedly.

"Your new pet?" Kael said in confusion, as he looked at Nami to confirm. Nami just nods his head indicating just accept it.
