The forest, washed by the rain, was particularly fresh and clean, but Ye Ranran and Fan Rou were in no mood to appreciate it.
"Ranran." Fan Rou held Ye Ranran's hand.
Ye Ranran shivered.
Fan Rou felt a blur in her palm. She released her hand, and all five fingers were covered in bright red blood.
She grabbed Ye Ranran's hand, and Ye Ranran grabbed hers back, then wiped the blood off her hand with her clothes: "Don't touch me anymore, my blood is poisonous."
But Fan Rou didn't listen. She took off her clothes: "I, I'll bandage it for you."
"No need, it's just a cut from the wild grass, it's not a big wound." Ye Ranran wiped off the last bit of blood and withdrew her hand.
"We better get out of here quickly, it's not good if we're late."
By this "not good", Fan Rou naturally thought of danger, but little did she know Ye Ranran meant her condition acting up.
"Ranran, you saved me, from now on you are my good friend." Fan Rou walked to the other side and took Ye Ranran's hand.
