With a flash of light, they appeared back in the earlier hall. This time, the lecterns were gone, and light filled the space. The hall was grand and imposing, but not very large. It was perhaps a few dozen steps in length, with pillars and adornments littering the sides, and a couple of burning braziers providing light.
Most surprising was the lack of doors in this place. The intention for every movement between rooms to be through teleportation was obvious. 'Perhaps some kind of security measure?' Erik muttered in his mind. 'Surely they weren't simply lazy?'
