Avery never was the conversation starter type, and I had nothing to say in particular. As such, besides the few glances the two of us exchanged here and there in the car, the ride back to the mansion was a quiet one.
"You may go to your family. I'll summon you if need be," with a nod, I dismiss him.

My first stop upon ascending to the first floor is none other than Accalia's room. I was not the biggest fan of the way her voice had sounded this morning so, the need to check on her consumes me.
