Baili Xia rolled around in bed for quite a while, drowsy and disoriented, before she finally closed her eyes and fell asleep.
She had just recovered from illness and had been prone to drowsiness lately, plus her body hadn't fully recuperated and really couldn't handle any strain.
Spending the evening outside traveling by boat and car, it was already quite impressive that she hadn't slept until now.
But not long after she fell asleep, in a hazed state, she felt as if someone else had entered the room.
Yet, even without clearly seeing who it was, her heart did not panic as before, no longer reacting as it used to do.
She struggled to open her heavy eyelids and indeed saw a tall figure in front of the floor-to-ceiling window.
She couldn't make out the figure, but she recognized his scent clearly.
Slowly closing her eyes again, she turned over, her back facing him.
Clearly awake, yet she seemed to not want to see him.
