"Hm? Going to sleep already? I thought you'd stay awake a little longer," Edward said, hearing a soft murmur from Noctua, who was curled up around the back of his neck like a scarf.
'how is she not uncomfortable like that?' Edward thought, just as he heard high-pitched squeals of pure joy from Litty, who was darting through the room, flying from one bookshelf to another, touching the scrolls and letting the divine energy rush up her arms.
Edward's expression darkened as he raised a hand to his mouth, finally tearing his gaze away from Litty to the scroll in his hand. "How the hell did they manage to do this?"
He unrolled the scroll, which was filled from top to bottom with writings detailing the best ways to carve without leaving a single flaw in the structure. The content itself wasn't particularly important—but what had been used to write it was: pure divine energy.
