"Ah..." Wyatt's mother screamed in shock until a large hand quickly covered her mouth: "Don't yell, it's me!"
Hearing Tabby Teller's voice, Wyatt's mother immediately lost all sleepiness and became fully alert.
"How did you get in?"
She had locked the door before going to sleep specifically to prevent him from entering.
She figured he wouldn't be so shameless as to actually knock on the door.
As it turned out, indeed he didn't knock; he just came in on his own.
Tabby Teller said with a smile, "Climbed through the window."
When he was younger, he often did things like climbing through windows and over walls. Now he was older, it seemed like he had regained that rushing passion.
By the light of the street lamps in the yard, Wyatt's mother could barely make out the distinct contours of Tabby Teller's face.
She chided him with mixed feelings, "You are the President, what if someone saw you climbing through the window and it got out? How could you not consider the consequences?"
