"He's Nero?" Auri gasped under Drai's safeguarding arms. Ever since Drai told her about his encounter, she had often pictured Nero—his face, voice, and how he looked when he unleashed his fiery skills. To her surprise, her imagery of the man who was supposedly a high-ranked member of the Crimson Order was way more terrible than the real version, who wasn't as terrifying as she had made him. In fact, the man was exuding a sense of gentleness that didn't suit someone who commanded such horrid acts.
Hearing the gasp, Nero glanced at Auri and smiled amicably, saying, "Judging by your magnificent hair and fairness, you must be the young Velles miss. By any chance, would you help me convince your friend here to voluntarily follow me back to our headquarters? I would rather not scorch your scenic capital if I can help it."
