Apparently, he had already become a Core Disciple in the Celestial Artisan Castle, reaching that rank before even Jue Zhu had in the Golden Heaven Tower. Of course, that status required no formal test in the crafting-focused sect, being awarded solely based on achievements in their crafting field. He was poised to become a Rank 4 Alchemist, getting that far in an extremely short time, and had provided a great many rare and quality alchemy pills to the sect, so he was granted the rank.
Still, his ability to get so far so fast spoke to his passion. On the other hand, he was, going by what I'd found in the chat, the only one of us original four Champions who hadn't yet cleared the Lower Divine Heaven trials. The last he'd mentioned on the subject, he said he'd be ready in a week or two. That had been about a week ago.
