Harun paced the dock back and forth as people began climbing the ramp to board the large vessel heading out to Persia. He was once again draped in his cloak, concealing his identity.
" That man is late," he folded his arms in annoyance. " He said he would be here today. If he doesn't show up soon, we might need to wait for another ship to sail."
Jaber and Sindbad exchanged curious looks. Who was the man they were waiting for?
" My… Sir," Masrur corrected himself quickly as he whispered to Harun. " I say we board already. Whether that man catches up or not doesn't matter. We already sent a letter to Baghdad, we can't miss this trip. Plus, he's more than capable of catching up in good time."
Harun sighed as he turned to the boarding ramp. " You're right. I don't have to wait for him after all. Our destination is the same, we'll meet up eventually."
He stepped on the board, followed by Masrur, Jaber, and Sindbad.
