Su Liuying responded dully, the disappointment in her voice was clearly heard by Quan Tianyou.
He pursed his lips, sighed internally, and after a few seconds of silence, said, "Since you're hurt, take time to heal. I've arranged meals for a week to be delivered to you, make sure to eat well!"
Quan Tianyou's words instantly turned Su Liuying's disappointment into joy. Although his tone remained indifferent, his words still showed care for her.
"Alright, I got it!"
Su Liuying replied, her voice no longer held the earlier disappointment.
"Go eat now!"
Holding the phone, Quan Tianyou stood up and walked to the window, looking out at the sea. The call surprisingly calmed his originally irritable heart.
"Okay! I'll hang up now!"
For once, Quan Tianyou didn't hang up abruptly like before; his change in attitude gave Su Liuying a little delight.
