Lake had asked Melody to take her friend to the apartment where she was staying. He was so busy throughout the day and couldn't attend to them.
That night, he had tucked Mikhail in on the bed and returned downstairs to meet Audrey, who was lying on the sofa.
"Do I need to carry you up, too?" He asked as he squatted in front of her.
Audrey opened her eyes and sat up, "No. Sit." She tapped the space beside her.
Lake slowly nodded and sat beside Audrey, placing his arm behind her.
"You want to know what my deal with Melody was, right?" He questioned.
Audrey nodded, "Will you tell?" She asked, staring at his handsome face
Lake chuckled and pulled Audrey into his arms, "Of course. I have nothing to hide... unlike you," He smirked.
Audrey blinked away from his gaze, "Just tell me, already," She urged.
