Contrary to that, the calm person looked towards the crack and only tightened their grip on their rusted item, which was glowing with a bluish-green blend of energy.
"Viraan, who was that person?" his friend asked him in confusion. "Maybe another wannabe hero," Viraan casually replied, as he didn't even want to talk about them.
"Look, it looks like she is raising her energy; the dark clouds are clearing." Viraan looked towards the cracking wall, which started to restore, and that black energy wasn't there anymore. "Why?" Viraan muttered, losing his grip on his rusted item, and the energy releasing from it disappeared.
Meanwhile, she was moving towards the horde of beasts. With an energy burst, she bypassed the first horde of Neothaliyan beasts. Within a few seconds, her blade cut down 20 to 30 Neothaliyan beasts with ease. As the beasts' bodies were falling to the ground, she kicked one to break the others' attention.
In that split second, she dodged a stream of blood from the beasts. She exploded with another energy burst, but the angle was so low that all the blood streams of the beasts moved a few centimeters above her body.
She quickly stood on her feet and jumped into the horde of Neothaliyan beasts, sparking a blood cannon around her. Their bodies were shrinking as an after-effect of their own attack, but they didn't stop.
She dodged their attacks; all their attacks were so predictable that she lured them to attack each other. A blood stream contacted another of the Neothaliyan beasts. Their bodies quickly disappeared across the area of impact, leaving only a few parts standing, showing they once existed.
She jumped and killed nearly five beasts to gain room to move. She wrapped another layer of energy around her body and face, as the earlier energy was almost depleted.
She looked towards the horde of never-ending beasts and then at her blade. She moved, and a few blood spikes pierced the ground where she had just been standing, but her face showed no worry as she simultaneously thought and killed beasts within her range.
With another jump, she watched thousands of beasts on the battlefield, and more were coming. She looked towards her blade and then looked a bit disappointed.
A blood stream rushed towards her, but this time she miscalculated her air time. She was almost 20 meters high and had no way to dodge the attack in mid-air.
She focused all her energy into her blade and released a destructive energy. Her energy pierced and divided the attack into two, but the explosion threw her two meters higher. She was falling to the ground on her back, but just as she was about to hit the ground, she opened her eyes and focused her energy on her feet.
Her feet were able to handle the impact, but the impact traveled through her body, and she spat out a few drops of blood. With a calm look, she held her ground and swiftly wiped away the blood. She didn't have enough time to waste.
A horde of Neothaliyan beasts was almost upon her, thousands of beasts rushing towards her, each covered in a dark reddish energy around their jaws.
Following them were razor-fanged-looking beasts, but their wounds were gone. She tried to dodge the beasts' attacks, but her speed started to decrease under their sheer numbers.
She dodged and killed a few beasts in front of her, but others quickly took the place of the fallen ones. Their bodies didn't release that same smoke, which was a relief for her. But as the bodies rolled towards her, the area was melting.
She looked towards her blade, which was flickering after some time. "This is bad," Tlenion said, looking at her energy. "What does that mean, and why are you talking in such a strange manner?" Carciyan asked him in frustration. "Look, her flame or energy is flickering at 5 to 6 minute intervals."
Carciyan, in confusion, turned towards her and started counting.
Meanwhile, as she fought that horde, she was constantly pushed back. In disappointment, she looked towards the herd of beasts, which was only increasing in number.
She started gathering energy in her legs once more and looked towards the beasts about to bite her. She pushed forward, killing beasts to clear her path, and at the same time gathering energy in her legs.
After 2 to 3 minutes of struggle, she was ready for the attack. She covered her entire body with another layer of energy, along with her blade. With a whooshing sound, she covered 50 to 60 meters, vaporizing all the beasts in her path.
Her energy disappeared, but she instantly covered her body with the same energy.
The beasts were afraid, and some tried to turn back, but suddenly something changed. They started to roar and move forward despite being afraid; they were moving towards her.
"Okay. Run, this is your chance!" A voice filled the ears of the people who could barely see anything from such a distance. "What was that?" Everyone there was confused and panicking at another perceived danger, but a few of them recognized that voice.
"This voice…" The people who recognized that voice started looking at each other in confusion. "Yes, she is asking us to run away," Tlenion said. "But she cannot fight alone; at least we can buy her some time. We aren't that useless." People started to shout, but inside they too knew how much they could contribute.
She wasn't unaware of their mental state but still had doubts; however, she didn't have enough time to convince them. She started to gather more and more energy. Some of the beasts tried to attack her, but they instantly vaporized as soon as they came into contact with the energy around her body.
After a few minutes of increasing her power, all the energy suddenly disappeared, but the fear of the beasts was still there. They refused to move, but suddenly changed once more with fear. One of them slowly moved towards her. When nothing happened, it started moving closer and closer.
The beast was moving, but it stopped after a few steps. The beast's body fell to the ground; the beasts' fear increased, but something was forcing them to move forward.
She used this opportunity to advance further into the core of the beasts. After killing and making her way in, she suddenly stopped and looked towards the Yava Viskans and smiled. Her lips moved, and at the same time, a voice reached their ears: "Go NOW!!"
