"Look at me," Kiyomi suddenly commanded the mad queen, silencing everyone. It was a very unexpected move. One that could have had Kiyomi dead in literal seconds. The mad queen was never one to take orders.
She was never one to submit.
She was never one to give in to anyone or anything.
And yet as Kiyomi spoke to her, as everyone translated Kiyomi's words as a command, Sakura lifted her head gently and turned to look at her beloved. The woman she would give up her life for.
She turned her soft eyes to look into the eyes of the woman who made her want to be a better person.
The command, as many assumed, was just a simple request to Sakura.
One that the queen could have denied, given they already had an audience that even had the queen's pets.
The dining room was filled with several other tables, yet none of them were as decorated as the long table. They were just parts of the mess that had become of Sakura. So, the gasps heard in the dining room were expected.
