Early this morning, Luo Qiao brought quite a few snacks prepared by Rong Daniang, according to the Chinese custom, as a festival gift for Professor Wilson.
As soon as she entered the laboratory, Steven and Emma rushed over.
Emma smiled brightly, "Luo, what's all this?"
Luo Qiao took a big bag out from inside: "These are for everyone."
Then, carrying a few other bags, she said: "These are prepared by my family for the professor. In China, we call these festival gifts, for my teacher."
Professor Wilson was coming out from inside, childlike: "Don't fight with me over them."
Everyone burst into laughter.
Professor Wilson's wife was very fond of Chinese culture, especially the food, and she had mentioned before that she wanted to visit Luo Qiao's home.
However, there just hasn't been time and opportunity.
