Qin Zhuan smiled, "Yaya will be fine."
Ji Die breathed a sigh of relief.
The atmosphere grew awkwardly silent again.
"I'm sorry." Qin Zhuan suddenly said.
Ji Die was taken aback, then realized he was referring to that night. Her cheeks flushed red, her fingers nervously pinching the hem of her skirt. "You don't have to apologize, it was all voluntary on my part."
Qin Zhuan sighed, "This is something I owe you, I should say it to you personally."
Ji Die smiled sweetly, "Then I accept."
Qin Zhuan's gaze fell on her belly, "How...is the baby?"
Ji Die glanced at him, seeing his unblinking eyes fixed on her belly, she lowered her head shyly, "It's fine."
After a moment's hesitation, she pulled out a sheet from her bag and pushed it across the table to him, "This is the test result, I never got around to throwing it away."
Qin Zhuan looked at the thin piece of paper, unable to muster the courage to look at it, and closed his eyes.
