Isabella is nothing but a foodie; the Golden Mage's combat capabilities are basically useless once she's here. Sang Lan's skills are average, constantly outmatched by the Holy Maiden. Givenchy might have some promise, but the Underground Great Tomb is a high-level dungeon, unsuitable for a Void Novice like her who's just starting out.
The three were left behind by Wayne, with Sang Lan tasked with coordinating the elite members of the Naturalism Church to guard against any devils attempting a desperate, self-destructive scheme involving civilians. They were stationed near the Surface Temple.
At the entrance, Wayne closed his eyes to expand his mind and feel out the structural layout of the Underground Great Tomb's passageways.
