Lu Chuan pursed his lips, somewhat guilty as he shifted his gaze away from Xiu Niang's chest.
"Still talking, still talking!"
Xiu Niang's delicate face flushed slightly. Pulling at the corner of Lu Chuan's robe, she slapped him twice on the chest, only to end up hurting her own hands instead.
"Alright, alright. So what should we do now?"
Lu Chuan gently grasped Xiu Niang's small hands and lightly kneaded them, trying to soothe her. "You know this place better than I do. Where should we head from here?"
"I've never been here either, how would I know? We can only wander around and hope for some luck."
"Then... split up?"
"No way! What if we run into that monster again? I don't have any Soul-Attracting Bell or anything like that. Do you just want me dead?"
Lu Chuan could only sigh helplessly.
