Jin Yan's words made Gao Yang stand up abruptly.
"Where is she?" Gao Yang stared at Jin Yan and asked, both stern and anxious.
"She... she couldn't be saved!" Jin Yan's face looked very ugly.
Gao Yang's fists instantly clenched. "What exactly happened?"
Jin Yan with a composed face replied, "After the interrogation, she was taken to the detention room, isolated. There wasn't any noise, but just now, our colleague saw her lying on the ground and called out to her twice. There was no response. When we went in to check, she was already not breathing!"
Gao Yang's face turned extremely grim.
Chen Meimei hadn't confessed everything yet!
Although she had pleaded guilty, admitting to all these cases, this investigation couldn't be concluded just because Chen Meimei confessed. Other pieces of evidence were still needed.
