Rong's mother pulled Xiaocong over, squatted down, and looked at him with loving eyes.
Xiaocong cozily leaned into her embrace. Rong's mother noticed that he had lost weight and his skin had darkened.
However, his body had become much sturdier, and he had grown taller.
"Xiaocong, tell Grandma, after you were taken away, did anyone bully you?" she asked softly with a gentle smile.
Xiaocong shook his head: "Grandma, I'm fine. They only trained me in martial arts, and didn't hurt me."
"My good grandson, Grandma thought I might never see you again in this life. Fortunately, Heaven let you survive and brought you back to Grandma's side." Rong's mother hugged him tightly with a sigh.
"Grandma, Xiaocong will never leave you again."
"Hmm, you won't. From now on, you have your daddy and mommy to protect you, and they won't lose you again."
