Another night passed.
The next morning, as predicted, the Daily Prophet announced Voldemort's death. The Great Hall of Hogwarts soon buzzed with chatter as everyone discussed this piece of sensational news.
Peace had finally returned to the wizarding world!
Or rather, peace had finally returned to the British wizarding world.
Of the four Hogwarts houses, only Slytherin looked like someone had died in their family, with the silent grief evident throughout the entire house.
Many of the parents of young Slytherins have joined the Death Eaters. Apart from a few who have switched sides early enough to escape the trial, the rest have already booked their lifelong stay in Azkaban.
With food and accommodation included!
Given the situation, no one in Slytherin dares to make a sound.
Andy looked at the newspaper.
He didn't know if the Ministry of Magic had intervened, but the newspaper today did not contain any comments smearing Dumbledore. On the whole, it was full of praise, and Andy and Dumbledore were even heavily touted.
In particular, the reports are touting Andy.
Andy blushed a little when he read them. He didn't know how those reporters had managed to come up with such clever phrases; it was quite impressive.
Andy: (/ω\)
Rita Skeeter's report even went so far as to praise Andy in every sentence, with Dumbledore's name only mentioned twice at the end of the report, making him seem like some minor character. Andy almost thought that Dumbledore had just served as little more than a sidekick.
That was some serious exaggeration!
"Hm..."
Andy guessed that those people led by the Malfoy family had not spared any expense.
Putting down the newspaper, Andy gulped down a glass of milk and grabbed a few more pastries in a hurry. He got up and said, "Hermione, I'll go first before they react; you eat slowly."
Frantic young wizards are terrible.
Andy was very worried about this.
To prevent being blocked in the Great Hall and getting stuck there, Andy chose to leave immediately and spend the next few days avoiding people.
"I'll come with you, then," said Hermione, wrapping up some food too, and getting up to drag Andy away.
She is Andy's girlfriend, so she is not immune either.
The young wizards will crowd around her, pestering her with questions, asking over and over again, a hundred times, a thousand times, and then creating chance encounters in the corridors to continue the questioning.
Just thinking about it is enough to make anyone tired and lost.
It's horrible!
Snap!
Andy snapped his fingers, and the Confundus Charm instantly took effect.
As a result, even if someone saw Andy and Hermione, they would treat the two of them merely as strangers.
Just before they walked out of the Great Hall, Hermione glanced back in the direction of Slytherin.
The Death Eaters did not deserve sympathy.
But these young wizards who had lost their loved ones would probably be filled with resentment for the rest of their lives.
"Phew,"
As they walked out of the Great Hall, Andy and Hermione both let out a sigh of relief.
They had got away just in time!
"Andy..."
Hermione asked hesitantly, "What do you think we should do to ease Slytherin's hatred for the other houses?"
"I don't like Slytherin either, but..."
Hermione let out a small sigh. "If things continue like this, I'm afraid it'll only lead to even more trouble."
The young witch still had some kindness in her.
Andy raised an eyebrow on hearing this and casually said, "They dare not, and they don't have the ability."
"People tend to have two sides to their hearts: one is greed, and the other is unwillingness."
"But what if they are greedy? What if they are unwilling?"
"It takes courage to cause trouble!"
"Of course, it also takes ability!"
Andy didn't really care about Slytherin.
Without a leader, they are just a bunch of misfits who can't make a ripple.
Andy continued, "After the last wizard war, the Death Eaters also suffered a similar fate. But so what? They've been living peacefully for over a decade, haven't they?"
Hermione thought about it for a moment, then nodded slightly, "You're right. It's a society ruled by law now; they shouldn't have the guts to start trouble anymore."
Andy: "..."
Hermione felt relieved, but Andy was a little speechless.
Those Pureblood families that had suffered heavy losses are indeed not worth mentioning, but those Pureblood families that have suffered little damage may not necessarily remain content in the future.
Because in their minds, they still have Andy backing them up!
Besides. What is the rule of law in the extraordinary world?
Voldemort has a different opinion on this!
Without saying anything more on this, Hermione asked, "Where are we going?"
"Let's go outside!"
Andy said, "The weather is pleasant today."
"Hm." Hermione nodded.
***
Shortly after Andy and Hermione left, Harry found himself in a difficult situation.
As a participant in the decisive battle against Voldemort, Harry was surrounded by a large group of young wizards, who were eager to hear more details.
Even Ron had gone over to the dark side.
He looked a little angry!
Harry didn't bring him along on such an important quest as defeating Voldemort, and then he even went so far as to keep it a secret from him afterwards.
He feels that Harry doesn't consider him a friend at all.
Watching Harry surrounded by the crowd, Ron feels a little envious and jealous – no matter what the situation, he is always the one who stands out the least.
Ron remained on the side.
He watched for a while with a cold heart and then walked away silently.
***
Harry was obviously unable to cope with the crowd's questions alone. He didn't know who to answer first or where to start.
"By the way, Andy knows all about it too!"
Annoyed by the crowd's persistence, Harry decided to betray Andy and Hermione.
Of course, it wasn't really betrayal.
After all, Andy was involved in the whole thing.
Andy and Hermione could help him deflect some of the attention.
Harry had plenty of experience with this sort of thing.
At most, he would be bothered for a week or so, and the attention of the young wizards would soon be drawn to other things.
It wasn't easy!
But it wasn't too hard either!
"You can ask Andy and Hermione!" Harry shouted at the crowd.
"Yes!" the crowd suddenly realised.
Andy and Hermione were also involved.
Especially Andy!
According to the newspapers, it was Andy and Dumbledore who had defeated Voldemort, and Harry had only played a supporting role.
"Where is Andy? Where is he?"
"Hermione is also missing!"
"Don't bother looking for them; they've already gone."
"It's strange, don't you think? Andy was mentioned a lot in the newspapers, but we've somehow ignored him."
Once this remark was made, the crowd erupted into a flurry of chatter.
Yes, Andy was the one who defeated Voldemort, but everyone's attention was on Harry. If Harry hadn't mentioned Andy's name, they would have almost completely ignored him.
"What's going on?"
"Maybe it's some kind of spell. Andy made us completely ignore him."
A young wizard speculated.
Fred abruptly jumped onto the bench. "Everyone, whenever something like this happens, Andy always disappears. Right?"
George added, "This time, I don't think we can let him get away with it!"
"We have to find Andy!"
"And make him explain everything!"
"So…"
"The Great Search for Andy..."
"Starts now!" Fred and George said at the same time.
