Lucius went to his study and Sawyer followed behind him.
"The event's on Tuesday, right?" He took off his jacket.
"Correct." Sawyer replied.
"The two sisters are participating, right?"
"They have both been participating for five years and Zuri always won first place." Sawyer took the jacket from Lucius. "But last year, she wasn't even on the top ten."
Lucius frowned. "Then who won first place?"
"Camila took the first place." Sawyer kept standing. "I suspect that she uses illegal means to win.'
"Sit down." Sawyer pulled out a chair and sat down.
"Why would she try to ruin her sister?" Lucius was lost in thought. "Do you know anything about it?"
"Does Young Master want to know?"
"Why would I ask you if I didn't want to know?" Lucius glared at him. "It looks like you are becoming incompetent, Sawyer. I don't like incompetent people."
Sawyer froze completely and shrank back. "Forgive me, Young Master."
"From the news given to me by neighbours, ever since the Vestas moved, Camila and her friends had always bullied her."
"Since they were still under nine years old, no one took her little pranks seriously. But it all changed when they got older."
"Camila's jokes and pranks got more vicious and horrible. And Zuri began retaliating by exposing her deeds."
Lucius fell back. "Looks like she's jealous. But why?"
"Maybe because Zuri is well liked and she isn't. Young Master, do you wish to intervene?"
"It's their problem." He closed his eyes. "If I want to propose the marriage, it would have to be at the event on Tuesday."
"Has the Young Master decided who he will marry?"
"Initially, it was going to be Camila. With her skin color, it will be easy for her to deal with the media." Lucius sighed. "But I don't want a party animal as a wife."
"She is even ill-mannered and undisciplined." Sawyer shook his head. "She won't do."
"But it would be hard to convince Zuri. She is far too careful." And then, he came up with the perfect plan.
