The Robotic Dragon's wings expand even wider, metal plates locking into place as streams of pure energy surge between them. Its entire body begins to glow, generating a violent energy storm around itself as it charges a devastating blast in its mouth.
Inside her cockpit, Gaia glances back toward Taeo City, then narrows her eyes at the monstrous dragon.
"I'm not going to let all of our hard work go to waste!" she declares.
With urgency, she slams a few levers forward and taps multiple buttons on her control panel. Her mecha braces itself, stepping into a defensive stance as shimmering energy shields ignite across both arms.
Within the roaring storm, the dragon unleashes a colossal energy blast. The wave slams into Gaia's mecha, and she grits her teeth, struggling to maintain control. Sparks fly. Chunks of armor plating peel off under the pressure. The mecha's rear thrusters erupt with surging power, barely keeping the machine upright against the overwhelming force.
The dragon keeps firing, pouring raw destruction forward. All across the city, citizens shield their eyes from the blinding light. Stray streams from the blast veer off, striking the nearby forest and igniting explosions across the landscape.
Still, Gaia holds her ground.
"Raaaghhh!" she roars, refusing to let the blast break through.
In the digital realm, Taeo watches the battle unfold. His eyes narrow as he mutters to himself.
"Looks like we have no choice but to use our last resort plan... Damn it all."
He takes a deep breath. His pupils shrink as his focus sharpens to its peak. Activating his ultra-thinking, his brain accelerates a thousandfold, pushing his body to the brink. He begins to tremble violently.
From Taeo's helmet, glowing threads of magical code shoot out in all directions. Thousands of spectral hands materialize from the threads, rapidly constructing digital structures at lightning speed, weaving energy and code into reality.
Meanwhile, in Taeo City, Gilga stares up at Gaia as she continues to endure the dragon's onslaught. He begins to laugh—loud, unhinged, awestruck.
"This... This is what I wanted from the Star Games!" he yells. "An unbeatable battle! A moment where I would feel powerless! This goes beyond anything I ever imagined! The sheer difference in power—it's thrilling!"
His eyes gleam with madness and reverence.
"Even in death, I'll be..... honored to face such might! This is the thrill I've searched for my entire life! I am God's chosen one! And this... this is just another trial I must overcome! That's why I'm the only one who can hear his true voice!"
Without another second, he slams the controls of his mecha. The thrusters ignite in a blinding flash, launching him forward like a missile toward Gaia's position.
Gilga's mecha surges forward and merges into Gaia's Mecha, moving his body into her cockpit. Now side by side, both of them braces themselves inside the control chamber.
"Let's show this dragon how strong Planet Isha's top nobles are!" Gilga shouts with fierce determination.
Gaia nods, and their newly combined mecha begins to transform. Larger, stronger, and far more advanced, the mecha grows with thick armor plating, reinforced energy shields, and an eruption of thrusters from its back that flare with raw propulsion.
The powered-up mech charges forward through the blast, forcing its way against the tidal wave of energy. But the Robotic Dragon isn't done. Its wings expand even further, absorbing more energy from the storm. It pours that power into its breath attack, creating an even larger and more devastating beam.
The force slams into the combined mecha, pushing it back. The ground beneath the mecha melts from the intense heat, turning to slag beneath its feet. The machine's armor begins to break apart—sparks fly, explosions burst along its frame, and fractures crawl across the energy shields on its arms.
Still, they push forward.
Inside the cockpit, both of them activate ultra thinking—accelerating their minds to process every possible outcome. They see hundreds of simulated paths, each ending in destruction. But in one lone future, there is survival—if only they can hold on just a little longer.
The cockpit shakes violently. Explosions tear through the interior. Blood pours from their eyes, noses, ears, and mouths.
Gilga's vision blurs. In a sudden flash, he sees himself lying atop a tall city tower, staring at the peaceful night sky. A faint voice echoes in his mind, soft and divine.
Gaia, too, sees a vision—her and Dustin sitting together on the edge of a tower, exchanging a quiet, content smile.
In both visions, they whisper the same words:
"I will become my own God."
The memory fades. The present returns. And with everything they have left, they unleash one final roar:
"Aaaaahhhhhh!!!"
The mecha, barely intact, braces against the heart of the blast. But at last, the Robotic Dragon begins to falter. Its wings become unstable—crackling with overcharged power. One by one, explosions ripple across its body. The storm dies down. The energy blast finally stops. The glow fades.
The dragon's wings shatter into pieces, and its metallic body cracks, sending out showers of sparks.
The combined mecha stumbles, its legs trembling. Then it collapses backward onto the scorched ground. The impact splits its structure apart, metal groaning as it crashes.
Inside the ruined cockpit, Gaia and Gilga are still breathing—but only just. Covered in burns and blood, their chests rise and fall with slow, strained gasps.
But then—they hear it.
A low, guttural roar.
Their eyes widen.
The dragon still lives.
Sparks shooting from its mangled body, the Robotic Dragon limps forward. With one last surge of willpower, Gaia and Gilga eject from the cockpit just as the mecha explodes beneath them. They crash onto the remains of their ruined machine.
Dazed and bruised, they look up—just in time to see the Robotic Dragon leap overhead, sparks trailing from its shredded wings.
It soars toward the city's barrier—unstoppable, even in its broken form.
The Robotic Dragon crashes headfirst into the city's barrier. The impact shatters it entirely, sending shards of glowing energy raining down across Taeo City.
From the ground, Rose and Ortis stare in horror as Yuri cradles a wounded Hopper, all of them watching helplessly as the barrier collapses. The dragon tears through several city structures, ripping into the skyline until it reaches the capital building. There, it lets out a final, thunderous roar—and unleashes a devastating energy explosion.
A massive explosion erupts, engulfing the capital building in flames. When the smoke finally clears, the dragon collapses to the ground, barely clinging to life, letting out a weak, guttural growl.
But then it notices its surroundings—floating fragments of corrupted data and broken digital pixels.
Two minutes earlier, in the digital realm, Taeo completes his masterpiece: a towering digital sphere constructed from millions of protective data layers. Blood streams from his nose as he roars, unleashing his last reserves of strength. Controlled magic threads tear open a portal directly into Taeo City.
Back in the real world, Rose holds tightly to Ortis, bracing for the end. Yuri closes his eyes, holding Hopper close as the dragon prepares to detonate.
On the remains of the shattered mecha, Gaia staggers forward and yells, "No!"
Gilga groans, half-smirking through the pain. "Well, don't lose hope yet. Taeo's got this. We'll just have to pay the price later."
The dragon explodes.
At that exact moment, the portal opens—countless magic hands erupt from it, wrapping around the blast. They drag the explosion into the digital realm where the massive data sphere waits. The sphere opens, swallowing the explosion.
A blinding flash follows.
When it fades, only the crumbling ruins of the capital remain. The portal snaps shut.
The explosion detonates inside the digital realm. The data sphere's layers shatter one after another, unable to contain the full force. Fragments of raw energy leak through, scarring the realm itself.
Taeo braces behind a wall of magic hands. They burn away as they shield him, but he survives.
Once the explosion ends, Taeo stumbles forward—toward the weakened Robotic Dragon.
"You were truly a storm of disaster," he says, breathing heavily. "But even a disaster like you can be stopped with the right technology and enough skill."
He narrows his eyes, voice rising with pride.
"I am Taeo, son of Theo! I will be the winner of the Star Games!"
With a wave of his hand, hundreds of digital spears materialize. The magic hands hurl them into the dragon's broken body—piercing it. A final explosion erupts from within the beast, ending it for good.
Fragments of the dragon drift weightlessly in the digital void. Among them, Taeo spots its glowing energy core.
He reaches out and takes it into his grasp.
"Even with this," he mutters, "it still isn't enough..."
A portal opens behind him. Gilga and Gaia step through, covered in ash and injuries, their eyes locking onto the massive energy core in Taeo's hands.
Gilga frowns. "How far did this delay our grand plan?"
Taeo doesn't answer at first, but Gaia steps forward, reading his expression.
"It must had costed us nearly everything."
Taeo nods solemnly. "If we had stayed on schedule, we would've finished the grand plan in fifth days. But this second wave of doom... was a bit much. We've lost too much. Even with the dragon's core, we'll need twenty days just to repair and rebuild."
Gaia exhales sharply, but then smirks.
"I figured something like this might happen. That's why I made backup plans—on top of backup plans. We still have a chance. If we rush and don't waste a single second, we can finish the grand plan just before the ninth day ends."
Gilga nods, rubbing the back of his neck. "Maybe we can. My own plans for the third wave of doom are still in motion. By the sixth day, they'll be complete."
Taeo lifts his hand, fingers glowing as he rapidly scans their premade plans. Diagrams and probabilities flash through his ultra mind. A small smile crosses his face.
"Maybe we can do this," he says. "But it all hinges on Gaia now... We're going to need as much luck as possible."
On the southern island, the once-mighty volcano lies in ruins, spewing rivers of molten lava across the scorched landscape. The island is engulfed in flames—burning trees, cracked earth, and thick smoke filling the air.
At the heart of the chaos, the Blaze Dragon lets out a thunderous roar, towering over a severely wounded Ignis.
Ignis crawls backward, his body battered and scorched. He lifts his palm, launching desperate bursts of fireballs at the beast. The projectiles slam into the dragon's hide—but does nothing.
The dragon doesn't even flinch.
All around them, pillars of fire erupt from the ground, turning the battlefield into an inferno. Most of the Stars and natives who once fought alongside Ignis have already been reduced to ash.
Ignis backs up against a smoldering tree, chest heaving, blood dripping from his lips. His body trembles from exhaustion and begins to talk to himself.
"This... looks like the end of the road," he whispers, eyes full of regret. "I'm sorry, Mother... I thought I was strong enough for the Star Games..."
He lets out a shaky breath as flames reflect in his eyes.
"I really believed I had a chance... when I became a Chosen in the first stage. But I could've never imagined... this kind of danger..."
The Blaze Dragon snarls and charges. Before Ignis can move, the dragon's jaws clamp down—devouring him in a flash of fire and smoke.
The creature roars once more in triumph, wings expanding as it takes flight. Beneath it, the entire island trembles—then detonates in a colossal eruption of fire. The ground splits apart, molten rock bursts into the sky, and what remains of the island is consumed by the flames.
With a burning aura wrapped around its body, the Blaze Dragon ascends into the skies—leaving only ashes behind.
On the eastern island, the winds blow with tension as Boa stands tall beside his trusted warriors, animals, witches, the masters of each head clan, and his closest allies—Prekayda, Jen, and Crank.
They all gather at the island's edge, facing the vast ocean, knowing what looms on the horizon.
Boa steps forward, eyes steady.
"This is the plan," he declares.
Suddenly, a burst of golden-yellow aura erupts from his chest, surging outward like lightning. The energy forms glowing threads that connect to everyone present—linking them through his will and spirit.
Everyone gasps in awe as the golden light pulses through them, as they all now know Boa's battle plans.
Prekayda immediately drops to one knee, head bowed.
"That is a fine battle plan," she says reverently. "We will do whatever you need to the best of our abilities."
Crank stumbles back.
"What is this?!" he shouts. "You can't fight that dragon alone!"
Jen steps beside him and places a calming hand on his arm.
"Calm down, Crank. He's not alone. We'll support him from the sideline."
Boa turns toward them all, voice firm and filled with honor.
"The dragon only wants me. So you all know how this is going down. In my honor, I will protect these people with my life... but I can't do it alone. I'll need everyone's help. Can I count on you all?"
A silence falls—then, all at once, the warriors, witches, and even the animals bow their heads to him, solemn and unified.
Crank clenches his fists, eyes glassy with emotion, before finally nodding.
Jen raises her fist high.
"We've slain a dragon before! We can do it again! In the name of Boa, we will uphold his honor!"
The crowd erupts into a cheer, their spirits ignited.
In the distance, the unmistakable silhouette of the Blaze Dragon appears—glowing like a fiery comet across the sky.
Boa steps to the shore and raises his hand. A powerful soundwave ripples from his palm, vibrating across the ocean's surface.
"Melon, come to me!"
The sea begins to churn. Moments later, a colossal whale with glowing yellow markings bursts from the waves. Boa leaps, landing gracefully atop the whale's back.
Melon lets out a booming call that echoes across the horizon. In response, a fleet of whales emerge—forming a line across the water.
Boa's golden aura flows into them, transforming the entire pod. One by one, each whale begins to glow bright yellow, radiating unity and power.
Standing atop Melon, Boa raises his fist to the sky.
"For Honor!"
The army of sea beasts surges forward, and the island prepares for its final stand.
