Chapter 37 - DAY 3 - HEARTS OF REBELLION

The magical green arrow, glowing with intense power, streaks across the sky and strikes the Bio Storm Dragon with tremendous force. The impact sends the creature flying, its massive body slowly crumbling into dust as it's carried across the horizon.

Kayle watches from the platform of the submarine as the arrow sails farther and farther, dragging the dragon beyond sight. The evening sun hangs low—a brilliant orange glow bathing the sky as if the planet itself were holding its breath.

The arrow continues its journey, cutting through the air, passing over distant lands and snowy regions.

In the snow lands, Lars and Atheen stand on a high cliff, watching the distant streak of magic blaze across the sky.

Atheen's eyes widen in awe. "Incredible... I never imagined a Chosen could become this powerful in just three days. This power... there's more to it than we understand."

Lars stares, fists clenched as the dragon is carried away into the horizon by the glowing arrow. His expression twists—not with admiration, but with quiet fury.

"It's her," he mutters under his breath.

He smacks his lips, frustration bubbling beneath the surface.

"There's no way she got that strong. I refuse to accept it. It's impossible for a commoner like her to surpass me in power!"

He turns, locking eyes with the massive Power Dragon still sealed within its towering ice prison.

Back in the ruined lands, After a full world round trip, the arrow finishes its final arc, returning like a divine message. As the dragon's crumbling remains scatter into the wind, the arrow dissolves into a dazzling explosion of shimmering dust—sparkling across the sky like a second sunset.

Two glowing dragon cores gently float down from the sky and land in front of Nox, who stands amidst the debris, bloodied but unbowed.

He catches his falling shovel as it descends beside him, then turns his gaze to the two radiant cores.

"Interesting…" he says, inspecting them with intrigue. "Maybe these can help me advance even faster toward the goal."

Footsteps can be heard as Kayle steps beside him, her breath still heavy, her aura faintly flickering.

"You mean..." she says, pausing with a small smile, "they'll help us."

Nox turns to look at her. For a moment, there's silence. Then, he nods once.

"So it seems."

They stand together, sharing a moment of mutual respect under the orange sunlight.

Meanwhile, in the eastern village, Crank, the chimera, the dire wolf, and Jen are sent flying, crashing through the magical barrier that surrounds the village. Each layer of the barrier shatters like glass as they break through, landing hard onto the shore beside the many warriors, animals, and Prekayda.

Jen's head is bleeding as she slowly rises with Prekayda's help. Her vision blurs, but she sees it clearly: the Blaze Dragon consuming the remains of the broken magical barrier, slurping up the glowing fragments as if they've turned to water.

"Get everyone as far away as possible, or else—" Jen begins urgently.

Prekayda cuts her off, calm and composed. "I already know our leader Boa's plan. And you've seen it too. That's why there shall be no fear among us—even in death."

Jen blinks, the reminder snapping her back into focus. "You're right… in the heat of battle, I almost forgot."

Prekayda places a hand on Jen's shoulder. "I can feel it. The dragon's spirit is drawn to every last piece of Boa's essence. And since we are still spiritually connected to him… it's coming for us all."

The Blaze Dragon roars, finishing its feast on the barrier. Crank and the chimera stand tall despite their wounds, facing the monstrous being with unwavering determination.

The dire wolf runs to Jen's side. She leaps onto its back.

"We'll drag him out and slay this dragon—together!" she shouts.

She rides forward to join Crank. He nods toward the horizon and says, "It's here. Took its damn time."

Jen looks around in confusion.

But then she feels it. An intense magical pressure builds in the air. Energy begins to swirl in the sky, crackling with green and yellow light.

Before them, the magic forms into a giant, spiritual T-Rex, the same size as the Blaze Dragon, glowing with green-yellow aura. It roars fiercely, matching the dragon's fury.

"What is that?!" Jen gasps.

"That's the Omega of the Old Pack," Crank explains, eyes locked on the beast. "Well… it's complicated. But yeah—part of it."

Jen narrows her eyes as realization hits. "Yeah… I see it now. it's like a spiritual form."

The Blaze Dragon and the T-Rex clash in a violent burst of magic and fury.

Crank roars as he charges forward, riding the chimera into battle.

Jen, still atop the dire wolf, looks up at the distant sky, her heart heavy but hopeful.

"This isn't the only battle happening right now…" she whispers. "I wonder how Yunbam is doing..."

Meanwhile, in God's Arena aboard Zion's spaceship…

Zion watches a massive digital screen, observing footage of Lars sitting with Atheen on a snowy cliff. A noble soldier enters, bowing respectfully before delivering a report.

"Commander Zion Platinumgrey, the Gem Council has ordered your return. Pawn City is under attack. An army of slummers and commoners is leading the charge."

Zion stands tall, chest out with pride. He smirks.

"Never before in Isha's history has there been a war during the Star Games. And now… they've united? Fascinating."

He gazes back at the screen showing Lars.

"I'll be back, son. Oasis calls for me to set things right. Make me proud."

Meanwhile, on Planet Isha – Pawn City burns with rebellion.

Commoners, Boas, and even some defected Pawns are clashing with noble soldiers and robots. Leading them is Yunbam, wielding Boa's magical sword—each swing radiates raw, divine power, cutting through resistance like lightning.

On the frontlines, Hank and his squad pin down resisting Pawns. Wade, the robot, soars above the battlefield. His metal wings extend, and a peck-like helmet seals over his head. He flies with blinding speed, firing lasers and slashing through enemy bots with his blade-like wings.

Wade spots a fleet of airships descending from the floating city, Oasis.

"Here they come!" he shouts through the comms.

Hank responds into his headset. "We've got their attention."

On a nearby cliff, Yunbam turns his eyes toward the skies as the airships blot out the sun. He destroys a noble HQ building with a wave of his blade, then speaks calmly into the comms:

"Basil. Unleash the rest of Project AK then start the Nova mission."

Beneath the commoner city, in the Undercity labs…

Basil grins wickedly as alarms flash and machinery hums to life.

"You heard the order!" he bellows. "Get moving! New BOA demands it! Now is the time for our revenge!"

Dozens of robots and drones activate instantly. Screens flicker. Steel arms bolt into motion. Pods open, revealing rows of Battle Robots.

Basil's fingers dance across a glowing keyboard. He slams a massive red button.

"Project Animal Kingdom—commence!"

Massive pods hiss open. Robotic animals of all shapes and sizes emerge, then begin fusing with the Battle Robots. Above, the ceiling opens, and the hybrids leap into glowing launch platforms.

With a thunderous boom of digital energy, hundreds of enhanced Battle Robots launch into the sky, thrusters blazing, hurtling toward the battle in Pawn City.

Back on the battlefield, Yunbam stands tall atop a cliff. He grips the magical sword tightly.

"Failure is not an option," he whispers. "Boa is counting on us."

He leaps into the air, magic swirling around him, lifting him higher toward the incoming airships. With a mighty swing, he unleashes an explosive energy wave that destroys several ships midair. The remaining vessels activate digital barriers, blocking the blast.

Suddenly, a massive portal tears open beside Oasis—and through it arrives Zion's colossal spaceship.

Zion stares at the ruined city and the boy in the air.

"Of course, the Boas are leading them." He then sees Yunbam displaying his magical powers "Impossible," he mutters in shock. "That kind of power… it's like a Chosen from the Star Games."

He narrows his eyes.

"This war will go down in history—and luckily, we've came prepared."

Back in Basil's lab…

He stands before a massive chamber housing a glowing nova core—its size, like a small building. Machines carefully stabilize it. Basil gently places a hand on the glass.

"Boa… we've done so much together in these short years. I never imagined I'd meet a man like you—an Ex-Pawn… fighting for everyone… aiming to become a god."

His robotic armor seals around his body with a hiss and a pulse of light.

He turns away and joins six elite black-armored Battle Robots, stepping into launch positions.

"The distraction is in full effect. Everything's in motion. We must not fail." He slams his fist against his chest. "For honor—and for BOA!"

The others echo his salute. Then Basil shouts into his headset:

"Nova Team—ready to deploy!"

With a thunderous digital explosion, the Nova Team rockets out of the lab, flying into the sky like meteors.

In the skies of Pawn city, Zion raises his hands, fingers slicing through the air. Digital pixels shimmer around him, and suddenly dozens of portals open in the sky. Giant laser cannons emerge from the rifts and fire down upon the battlefield.

Yunbam stands firm, his magical sword glowing with energy. He swings it with precision, blocking the lasers mid-air as they explode into sparks around him.

"Eliminate their leader, and the rest will fall!" Zion shouts. "Nobles of Oasis, do not forget—we are the perfection of mortals on Planet Isha! Not even divine power can rival us on our home planet!"

The noble airships descend rapidly. Wade darts through the skies, blasting them with laser fire. His mechanical wings glint with each maneuver.

"Get off my son!" Wade yells as he slashes through an airship's hull.

Yunbam counterattacks with precision, swinging his sword to unleash a barrage of lightning bolts. The bolts tear through airships and the massive weapons stationed near the portals. He takes to the skies again, his blade a blur as he cleaves through the enemy.

Zion narrows his eyes.

"This power… it reminds me of Boa. Did he somehow transfer his divine power from the Star Games to here?" He clenches his fists. "You slummers… always defying expectation. Even the gifted ones. But don't get ahead of yourselves."

Zion summons his personal mecha—sleek, platinum, and humming with power. He climbs inside, then launches from his platform. The mecha's laser arm-blade ignites with crimson light as it clashes with Yunbam's lightning-charged sword.

"You think you're strong with those 'gifted' powers?!" Zion sneers. "We Nobles have prepared for this kind of battle. We've simulated these battles thousands of times for this kind of feat. We have enough resources to outmatch your gifted powers!"

More digital portals open midair. Weapons spill out, bombarding Yunbam from every angle with laser fire. A blast lands—Zion rushes in and slashes Yunbam across the chest with his arm-blade. Yunbam staggers channeling healing magic from his sword to close the wound.

Zion raises his hand again. A massive portal opens above Pawn City, and out pours thousands of noble robots, tanks, airships, and elite soldiers, their metallic march echoing across the city.

"If this were the full might of Oasis, you'd be nothing but dust!" Zion roars. "But you're lucky, you've chosen a time when most of our forces are focused on the Star Games. Still, I alone am enough to crush rats like you!"

They clash again. Sparks fly as blades collide.

"Stop bragging," Yunbam growls. "Save the excuses for when your face is buried in the dirt!"

Suddenly, the battle robots from Project AK arrive—hybrids of animals and machines, roaring with wild energy as they tear through noble forces. The tide turns yet again.

Zion's eyes widen.

"Battle robots with nova cores? This isn't just slummer work… this is the work of a noble handiwork." He laughs bitterly. "Even my own brother has join your ranks. Of course you slummers couldn't do it alone."

Yunbam lunges, slamming his blade into Zion's mecha. Sparks fly. Zion tries to respond, but Yunbam doesn't let up.

"Stop getting distracted by your own monologues!" Yunbam yells. "Fight me with everything you've got!"

He unleashes a surge of magic that blasts Zion through an airship. The ship explodes, and Zion crashes through its burning hull.

He emerges, bloodied but furious.

"Basil… You've plotted this all along, haven't you?! I should of never spared you, becoming an Ex-Noble wasn't enough huh?! SHOW YOURSELF!"

Before Yunbam can strike again, Zion opens another massive portal. A giant digital hand bursts out, grabbing Yunbam in its glowing grip, surging with digital energy. Yunbam cries out as digital energy tears through him.

Zion waves his hand again. Dozens of portals open across Pawn City, each spawning digital hands that grab, crush, slam, and blast the rebels with palm lasers. The battlefield turns chaotic as Zion's grip begins to shift the tide of war once more.

Near the battle over Pawn City, Basil and his elite strike team soar silently through the sky, cloaked in full invisibility.

Basil's voice crackles through the comms.

"Just as I predicted… Zion has entered the battlefield. Once he's involved, he'll expands Oasis's digital conversion field. That's how he's going floods in more military power. But that's exactly why we're here."

He turns to a robotic figure flying beside him—a sleek machine with the head of an owl.

"Owlbear," Basil says, voice resolute, "this is the moment your existence was meant for. You once dreamed of becoming a great scholar, back when you were still human—but the nobles stole that future from you. But You've become a Boa. You've learned everything I could teach. Now do what you were born to do."

The owl-headed robot nods silently, then breaks formation and speeds toward Pawn City. As it nears the battlefield, its cloaking fades, revealing its metallic feathers glowing with ancient code.

Owlbear's voice rings out, amplified across the city.

"Tell me, nobles! Can you win… without your precious digital conversion?!"

His chest opens wide, and a massive surge of raw data pulses from within. It disrupts the digital conversion field, scrambling the structure of portals all across the city. The digital hands freeze, deforming into warped fragments of glitched pixels.

Instantly, Boas and battle robots rush in to protect the beacon, forming a perimeter around Owlbear as noble soldiers scramble in chaos.

Meanwhile, Basil and the rest of his squad draw closer to the floating city of Oasis.

"We're approaching the outer layer," Basil announces. "Once I breach the barrier, your mission is clear: get into the Platinumgrey sector and collect as much Nova Core as you can."

He speeds ahead, the visor on his helmet flickering with scanning data. Through it, he isolates the digital signature of Oasis's barrier—searching for a weak spot.

Suddenly, Owlbear's voice returns on comms.

"I've analyzed Zion's leaking data. You can clone it now!"

Basil grins under his helmet.

"Excellent work, Owlbear. You might be my finest student yet."

He stretches his hands toward the digital barrier. Streams of neon data energy flow from his palms, burrowing into the grid of the city's shield. Using Zion's leaked data, Basil begins to clone the signature. Being his brother, the process is accelerated—shared DNA makes him nearly indistinguishable to Oasis's auto-detection system.

With a hiss and a flicker, the shield destabilizes—a hole rips open in the outer layer of Oasis.

"Now!" Basil commands. "I'm holding the hole open. Once you're inside, Oasis's system will detect you all as part of Zion's bloodline. Move!"

The rest of his elite team bursts through the breach, vanishing into the depths of the floating city.
