Chapter 14 - chapter 14

As grounds buzzed with excitement the UA High School event hit its peak. Everyone was scattered everywhere, engaging in various activities, their laughter and cheers filling the air. But for Aiden Blaze, stationed in the healing department, the joy of the event felt distant; Aiden sat in the medical room, his eyes glancing at the television where the event was being broadcast.

"Hey, Aiden!" Recovery Girl's voice broke through his thoughts as she tended to a student with a minor cut. "You don't look happy ."

Aiden shook his head, forcing a smile. "well I feel like I am missing something important"

Pointing to the TV as the match between students started and pointing to the medical room "I wanted to show off in the event but look at here how many people would know me after this event is over"

"You should not say that," she chuckled, dabbing antiseptic on the student's wound. "

Most of the heroes are going to be all over you because of your healing skills."

Aiden knew she was right. But knowing didn't make it feel any better. Every cheer, every roar of applause was a reminder of what he was missing. The most important point he should be known for magic and strength not for healing magic which might sound good but it does not represent him

As the hours passed, more students came and went, some with minor injuries, others more serious. Aiden and Recovery Girl's healed them all, He let out a sigh, the frustration mounting. His powers were formidable, and yet here he was, sidelined, watching others take the stage.

Towards the end of the event, the tent became quieter. Aiden felt like a missed opportunity, a chance to make some of his not-so-gl glorious dreams come true.

As the Sports Festival roared on, far from the bright lights and jubilant crowds, a dimly lit room flickered with the glow of a monitor. Shadows filled the space, their shapes hunched over a large screen where the U.A. High School event was being broadcast live.

Shigaraki's pale eyes narrowed as he watched the matches unfold. His fingers twitched restlessly, betraying his growing impatience. Beside him, Kurogiri's ever-present mist swirled gently, the only sign of his composed demeanor.

"Where is he?" Shigaraki's voice was low but sharp, cutting through the silence. "The golden one. Aiden Blaze. Not a single glimpse of him on the field."

Kurogiri's mist shifted as he spoke evenly, "according to information He have been sent to medical tent. Healing rather than fighting."

Shigaraki slammed a fist onto the table, causing the flickering screen to jump. "so the literally send someone which is similar to all might for healing have they lost their mind"

Another figure, lurking in the shadows, leaned forward. "He is dangerous. If he's holding back, then what would we do"

Shigaraki's lips curled into a cold smile. "Then it's time we force his hand."

The screen continued to show the climax of the festival's battles, but the villains' focus had shifted entirely. as the screen's glow flickered over the tense faces gathered there. Shigaraki's irritation simmered just beneath the surface, but before he could speak again, a deep, authoritative voice cut through the silence—originating not from anyone in the room but from the speakers embedded in the wall.

"looks like we have another stumbling block," the voice intoned, calm yet filled with undeniable menace. "Aiden Blaze possessing strength close to all might and have several abilities."

The image on the screen shifted briefly, revealing t more ominous figure. Though absent physically, his presence filled the room like a shadow cast over the entire operation.as he addressed the gathered villains.

"This one is not merely a threat of strength, which we can crush we have to be careful with every step"

Kurogiri nodded respectfully. " We are dealing with forces beyond our usual scope."

Shigaraki clenched his fists, frustration visible. "So what do we do? We wait while he grows stronger?"

The big villain's voice softened slightly but remained commanding. "No. We observe. We learn. And when the moment is right, we strike decisively. For now, focus on gathering data and weakening U.A. from within. His absence from the front lines is a vulnerability which we must explore."

A cold silence followed, broken only by the faint hum of the broadcast. The festival's cheer filtered in from miles away, stark against the oppressive atmosphere of the room.

Shigaraki's glare remained fixed on the screen, but the hint of patience had returned. "Fine. But I won't wait forever."

The unseen figure's final words echoed ominously as the feed cut to the next match.

"None of us can afford impatience. Not with what is coming."

Back at U.A., the final cheers of the Sports Festival echoed through the stadium as the last match concluded in a dazzling clash of Quirks and grit. Confetti rained from above, and students stood tall—bruised, exhausted, but proud.

In the medical tent, Aiden watched the screen go black as the broadcast ended. He exhaled quietly, his golden eyes thoughtful.

"It's finally over." Recovery Girl said gently.

Aiden stood, stretching. "For them, maybe. But not for me."

With a quiet flick of his fingers, the golden helmet materialized in his hand, its polished surface catching the fading light.

Outside, the crowd roared in celebration.

Inside, Aiden Blaze turned and left with teleportation.

The festival had ended.

But the real games were only beginning.
