This is another problem now. The court's panel of judges is still okay, so you can find quite a few female judges among them.
As for male judges, sorry, male judges are basically treated like laborers. This is the same in any industry; they essentially use you like a big workhorse.
When I took the exam for public positions, I was aiming for the court, only to be directly transferred to the Execution Bureau after getting in.
A judge's job is to judge the case; that's it. But execution is an entirely different ball game, leading to a particularly high resignation rate for execution judges!
Because some people realize that being an execution judge is not as lucrative as being a lawyer on your own.
