Leila wanted to watch the rest of the drama, but she did not need to be there for that. She had already made arrangements to be able to follow the ending of this little story. It would be a shame to miss the finale.
Her lips stretched into a wide smile as she stepped out of the front door.
"Leila, wait," A voice called from behind.
Leila stopped outside the house and looked at Rosemary, the Campbells' housekeeper. The woman looked a little emotional as she faced Leila. Leila's eyes softened as she looked at this person, whom she did not know, but who had cared for her as a child.
"Your things have already been sent out," Rosemary said awkwardly.
Leila asked the housekeeper the previous day to help her pack her clothes and have them sent to her apartment. The Campbells did not seem to care since Rosemary accomplished the task smoothly.
