SITA
As the sleek black limo pulled up to the entrance of the luxurious Hôtel Ivoire, excitement tumbled around in my tummy.
The ocean breeze and the sound of the waves gently rolling onto the beach greeted us as we stepped out of the car. The tropical paradise before us seemed like the perfect destination for our much-needed getaway.
Alessandro strutted over to my side, and I smiled up at him just as the hotel staff hurried over to us, a pleasant and welcoming smile on their faces.
" Welcome to Hotel Ivoire, Sir. Ma."
The grin on my face was almost hurting my cheeks. This was exactly what I needed right now, a few days getaway with Alessandro.
I could already imagine us strolling along the beach sand, wrestling in the water, Alessandro would teach me how to surf, we would dine and flirt in those exquisite hotels, and oh, the sex...
" Hun?"
Snapping out of my reverie, Alessandro's extended hand toward me was the first thing I noticed. I guess I had been lost in my dream world.
With a big smile, I slipped my hands into his.
Alessandro handed the car keys to one of the staff and led the way into the hotel, two of the hotel staff following behind us with our luggage.
We made our way to the check-in desk, and despite myself, I was struck by the sheer opulence of the Space.
The high ceilings, ornate chandeliers, and plush furnishings were a vision of luxury. The marble floor glittered in the soft light, reflecting the myriad colors of the flowers that adorned the space.
The atmosphere was one of refinement and exclusivity, making one feel like they were stepping into a world of privilege and indulgence.
Which we were. We were here to spend time with each other and indulge ourselves. To say I was looking forward to the next few days would be an understatement.
" Good evening, we have a reservation for the penthouse suite under the name of Alessandro Greco. Could you please check us in?"
The receptionist greeted us with a warm smile. "Of course, Mr. Greco. It's a pleasure to have you with us. Let me just check your reservation details. Ah, I see here that you upgraded to the Presidential Suite. I trust that will be satisfactory?"
Alessandro grinned. "Absolutely. I have to please my lady right here."
He winks at me, and I hit his arms playfully, my cheeks flaming at the public display of affection.
The receptionist watched our interaction with a bright smile. Still smiling, she handed Alex the key cards. "Here are your key cards, Mr. Greco. Enjoy your stay with us, and I hope you are pleased, milady."
Chuckling pleasantly, I leaned toward the receptionist conspiratorially. " I'm sure I will." My voice went down another notch. " Hard not to with the man beside me, don't you think?"
Her gaze flickered quickly to Alessandro and back to mine, a hint of shyness on her face. " Hard not to."
I like her. The hotel should raise her pay or give her a bonus. Maybe I should put in a word for her with the management.
" I'm not going to bother asking what she just said." Alessandro chuckled, pulling me close to his side. He thanked the receptionist and turned to me with a wide grin. "Ready to see our suite?"
His eagerness to explore the luxurious room was obvious, as we made our way to the elevator.
The bellboy opened it for us, holding the door as we stepped inside.
"Would you like me to bring your luggage up, sir?"
"Yes, please. Thank you."
The bellboy smiled and pushed the button for the penthouse floor.
The elevator ascended smoothly, and as we stepped out into the corridor, I could already sense the grandeur of our suite.
Alessandro swiped the key card, and the door opened to reveal a sumptuous living room, tastefully decorated with modern art and luxurious furniture.
The windows stretched from floor to ceiling, giving an unrivaled view of the city and ocean.
We stood in the doorway, soaking in the breathtaking scene in front of us. We stepped into the room, the bellboy wheeling our luggage in after us.
" I hope you enjoy your stay with us," he said with a slight bow, before leaving the room, making sure to close the door behind him.
I made my way to the balcony, sliding the door open, and stepped out into the evening air. It swirled around me, chilling my exposed arms and feet.
I inhaled deeply, taking in the salty breeze that wafted off the Atlantic Ocean below. Leaning against the railing, gazing out at the panoramic view of the Abidjan skyline, my eyes traced the glittering lights that dotted the horizon.
The distant murmur of the waves lapped against the shore, and for a moment, it felt as though time had frozen still. The sheer beauty of the city was intoxicating, especially from up here.
Movements behind me had me turning my head to find Alessandro stepping out into the expansive balcony of the penthouse suite as well.
He had two flutes of champagne in his hands and came to stand behind me, handing one of them over.
"To a perfect getaway."
I giggled, clinking glasses with him.
"This place is incredible." A hand snaked around my waist, cold lips pressing a kiss to the back of my neck. "I can't believe we're staying here!"
I scoffed and took a sip of my champagne. " You talk as if you have not seen better. Done better."
" Doesn't mean the beauty in front of me shouldn't be appreciated."
With the way his hand tightened around my waist, pulling me closer to him, I wondered if he was talking about the view or me.
" You should take a shower, bae, and dress up. I have something planned for us this night."
