Airone's POV
I grab my teacup and move my chess piece. I didn't know that Head Captain Alex was a... genius when it comes to this. I lost three times in the last five games we had.
We've been playing for hours and even eat our dinner while playing. "I have to make sure I'll win this time," I whispered. He simply chuckles.
"His Highness was competitive himself, huh?" His tone was amazed but respectful.
"Of course. I'm good at this, but I lost three times! It's rubbing my ego," I joke.
But no. I just enjoyed playing with him. At this moment, we're waiting for Prince Gavin's arrival. If he won't be able to make it, maybe he will tomorrow morning.
We already controlled their soldiers's camp in this border. They have handcuffs and guards, but they seemed to understand that betraying us or just one person who tries to harm my soldiers would mean death to all of them.
"I hope everything ends well in their royal capital," I remarked. Alex moves his piece.
