Kalix Noah's POV
Kassandra is now vocal about what she's thinking. She was doing her best to be more open to me. There are things she keeps for herself when she shares her feelings, but it's fine.
At least, I knew that she was telling me the biggest truth and her real worries. We arrived back in the port. I offered my hand to her.
"Why? I can walk, Your Highness," Kassandra says.
He didn't say a word and just grabbed her legs and lifted her up single-handedly. She blinks. "Let's go," I simply remarked.
She was a little bit dumbfounded, but then her lips formed that beautiful smile. I did the same thing too. As soon as we set our foot on the port, I noticed the quietness of the place.
"Arida and one of my captains must have led our soldiers and evacuated everyone. She knew that a battle would happen in the ocean and did this for precautionary measures. I hope you're not mad," Kassandra says.
