I couldn't hide my happiness when Gregory smiled at me when he saw me. He even runs to me, when I should be the one doing it. I saw how much these captains loved Kassandra.
They've been on missions for a year, yet they didn't show any negative emotion because their general had sent them to a dangerous kingdom that might be their death place.
A carriage arrives, and my heart was beating so fast for some reason. The guards open the door and even place a staircase for that person to walk onto.
"By the way, Your Majesty, King Gavin, we need your help. Can you heal King Oscar?" Prince Kalix says.
My big brother and I were stunned, and when our dad walked out of the carriage, the two of us gasped, and tears fell on my cheeks. "Come on, embrace your dad, honey," Gregory says.
I smiled. My brother and I ran to our dad and hugged him. "Daaadddd!" we roared, crying like we're still kids who were happy to see him.
