Sleep didn't come for a while, so Delilah spent her time just lying there and thinking of Hunter.
Just as she was about to doze off, her phone began to buzz and she received the call with a wide smile when she saw it was Hunter.
"What happened? You suddenly went off," she said before he could say anything.
"Come downstairs. I'm waiting outside," he said, and her heart skipped a beat.
"What? She asked with a disbelieving laugh.
"Do you want me to come up?" He asked, "I don't want to disturb your dad and Jessica."
"You're really outside? Are you crazy?" She asked with a laugh, unable to believe it as she quickly got off the bed.
"Yup. Hurry. I'm not feeling very patient tonight," he said and she quickly hung up the call and ran to the mirror, her heart racing.
Her cheeks were flushed red and her green eyes were gleaming with excitement. She quickly ran a brush through her hair and put a little gloss on her lips.
