After half an hour of walking they finally see the town market.
Form the Green wood town to the east side is the Johto regions most prosperous Goldenrod city.
From the original owner memories, Mike knows that the city was know for its variety of visitors as well the main supplying network for Moo Moo milk.
The "Green Market" within the town was very famous around here. There are many things that can be found.
Every products is made in this town, as this town was close to the Ilex forest, so the environment is very good for making variety of protect.
Mike walked down the street with Maganium, observeing pedestrian with various Pokemon going around here. The most seen Pokemon are the grass type as this environment is very good for them.
There are many things Mike has to done, besides buying food.
He needs to visit the town carpentry shop, general store, seed shop, and the shop that sold farm Pokemon and animals.
The Pokémon world also have farm animals but they were mostly in farm raised. Finding them out in the wild is impossible. Only normal fish can be found.
It was going to be noon soon so he has to be quick. Mike then asked th Maganium," So where do you think we should go."
"Maga..nium!!"
Maganium observe around, then shook her head. She doesn't know anything about as she only like to stroll around with her trainer.
Mike smile, patted her head and said," Then lets go to the general store first."
"Maga.nni!!"
The town wasn't that big. Prevent visitors form getting lost, the location of various shops are mark with billboard.
The store was empty except for a bald man with glasses sitting behind the counter.
Hearing the wind chimes jingle as the door opened, the man looks up ," Ah!! A customer, welcome!"
Mike greeted him politely, then asked," Do you have any seasoning here?"
As upto now Mike only eat instant food that was came prepare. He doesn't even have anything other than salt. So he wants to buy some seasoning for the meal he wants to cook.
"Yes! On the innermost shelf,"
Mike walked over and found a variety of seasoning on this shelf, just as the man said.
Oil, salt, vinegar, soy sauce, spices, peppers, sugar, butter, cheese, flour.
The price was clearly Mark on the the shelves.
For example, a bag of flour cost 200 Pokedollars, a bottle of oil 100 Pokedollars and salt cost 100 Pokedollars.
Looking at the price the previous 200 Pokedollar for a PokeBall doesn't seem that expensive now.
He still buy the amount of everything that he needs for the daily food.
He brought his items to the counter, the shop keepers looked surprised. He took the bag and asked," Did you just move to Green wood?"
"Yes," Mike replied.
The shopkeeper smiled," Then enjoy your life here! Alright, the total come to 3020 Pokedollars."
"Do you sell PokeBall here," Mike asked as he didn't find any when he was looking previously.
"Yes, the PokeBall was not in the shelves there! The normal PokeBall cost 200 Pokedollars, Greatball cost 2000 Pokedollars, Ultra ball 10,000 Pokedollars but currently I don't have any Ultra balls." The shopkeeper explain.
Mike then being to consider what he will do. After some thoughts he buy 10 normal PokeBall. He doesn't have that much problem with money now. But saving some as well as fixing the farm will be needing the money.
"The total comes to 5000 Pokedollars. Since this is your first time shopping here I will remove the 20 Pokedollars," the shopkeeper smiled and hand him his package.
"Thank you," Mike said, taking his purchases and leaving the store.
His next stop was the carpentry shop, located on the edge of the town with forest behind it.
A wooden stake stood outside the shop, a saw stuck in it.
Just as he about to know the door suddenly open.
A sturdy woman with a high brown ponytail and a headband emerged.
After Mike explained his purpose , she laid him into the workshop at the back.
"Are you the new range owner who just moved here?"She asked curiously.
Mike was slightly taken aback, then realized that Mayor clover had probably inform her about his arrival.
He nodded," My name is Mike. Nice to meet you."
"Just call me Cory," the woman replied.
"Yes Miss Cory."
As they walked, Cory explained the progress of expanding the house, as well as building some needed faculty. "You haven't name your ranch house have you?"
Mike shook his head." Not yet. I will have it called Mike farm for now."
"Don't worry, just asking about it," Cory said with a smile." Well, Mayor clover filled me in on the details. You're here to learn about restoring the Pokemon shed and the expansion of the house, right?"
"That's right."
"Then let me explain. Repairing the Pokémon shade requires 80,000 Pokedollars with the needed wood and stuff. Once repaired, you can rise Miltank and Mareep there. Of course, This is a bit pricey."
"There was also chicken coops that you can build. The price is 20,000 Pokedollers. If you want the silo will be free for the first purchase."
"What about expanding the house," Mike asked.
"Thats much simpler," Cory replied." A fully functional house would cost around 2 million Pokedollars. We can help you with add a second floor a separate kitchen and bathroom, as well renovated the basement. Usually rancher uses basement for making wine."
"We also offer custom furniture service. Besides the basic table, chair, and bench. You can also buy wallpapers, carpets, refrigerator, storage cabinet, various light fixtures and so on."
Five minutes later, Mike walked out of carpentry shop. Finalized everything he needs. He spend about 2.1 million Pokedollars for everything that was needed for his farms to running.
Cory will come by the evening to check on the farm to plan about what to do and so on.
Calculate the remaining money, he has about 3 million Pokedollars left. He will have to visit the local farm Pokemon house to buy Miltank and Mareep if not he will have to make a trip to Goldenrod city.
The farm there has Miltank, but they will be selling it was another matter. The Pokémon can be found but Mike needs to buy chicken for the coops he will build.
The local farms can provide all this. He will check out this in the afternoon, before going home.
The he begins to think and have his eyes spot Maganium beside him. Then he thought about why waste money if he can go around the forest looking for the Pokémon himself. He has the strength himself, unlike normal farmers who didn't have that much powerful Pokemon to help them with this.
With this plan In minds. He then took Maganium to his final destination for the day - the seed store.
When arrived at the destination. He sees that the seed store owner was a middle aged man, with black hair with slightly plump figure, wearing brown coat.
The man was having lunch when he arrived. Seeing a customer, the owner stood up and greeted him. "Welcome! Take a look around and see what seeds you'd like to buy."
Mike wasn't sure what to buy, as he only has orange tree seeds form the mayor.
Following the owner's lead. He saw a vest arry of seeds in the containers.
Potato, turnips, garlic, cabbage, cucumber, tomatoes and seeds for fruit trees like peachs, orange, apple.
There are also many berrie seed also, but most common ones.
After some thoughts, Mike decide to buy a package of each seed, including those for berries as well.
The seed price varied. The basics a vegetable seeds was 60-100 Pokedollars per packet. While tree seeds was about 120-200. The berries are the expansive one about 2000, 3000, 5000 Pokedollars each for the three types of berries that Mike bought. They are Oran Berry, Chesto Berry, Pecha Berry respectively.
Altogether the total amount was about 11270 Pokedollars.
After packing up the seeds Mike start to head back with Maganium.
Mike look at the sky, as the sun getting high up the sky and said. "Alright, lets go grab some lunch!"
With this Mike patted Maganiums, then lead it into the restaurants that was around.
