Sullivan appeared on the stage silently. He didn't make any grand announcement or anything like Riser.
All of the audience was completely shook from the way he arrived on the stage.
It was like he had appeared out of thin air. Appearing like this told them something that Sullivan actually could control space and time to a degree.
Even though his entrance wasn't as grand as Riser Phenex.
However, everyone could tell that he wasn't ordinary at all.
Especially from the powerful devils perspective.
"I can't feel his presence at all until he is on the stage."
An old devil comment.
"That foolish heir of the Phenex clan might meet his end today. He becomes stronger but doesn't know what is in front of him. What a shame of the devil."
Riser was so smug that he didn't even have Sullivan in his eyes.
To him he was just a lowly Yokai who didn't know how high heaven was.
He thought that his power as an ultimate class level was so majestic that his opponent should kneel before him.
He couldn't help but remark on him.
"Riser has to praise your courage for daring showing up in front of him."
Riser mocked him with a cruel grin.
Sullivan didn't react to his word at all as he was too cool to do that.
He was now wearing a robe with red clouds on it. And he even wore a conical hat to keep the theme. On his right hand there was a ring with zero number in Japanese on it.
He looked at Riser menacingly. The air around him was so intense that even the people on the stand could feel it.
However, Riser was too foolish to notice it at all as he was too high on his power.
Michael didn't really want to give him the power so he had done something to Riser.
"What is this intense aura I can feel from him?"
One of the devils said with a shiver ran down his spine.
He had never seen someone wearing something like that.
And it felt so right.
"Why do I hear boss music? Does anyone hear it?"
People started to comment on how Sullivan dressed himself and the aura that matched his outfit.
"You are so impressed by how majestic I am to the point you can't even speak? Now Riser will show you how powerful he is!"
Riser released more of his power. His fire engulfed the entire stage.
The fire was so hot that it melted down the ground. It moved toward Sullivan very quickly.
Riser wanted to burn him alive and heal him with the Phenex tear that he brought with him.
He planned to torture him in front of everyone.
However, when the fire was about to reach Sullivan. Something unexpected happened.
"Fuinjutsu: Shokaki"
(Sealing Jutsu: Fire Extinguisher)
Sullivan made a hand gesture and the fire that Riser was really proud of was extinguished in a matter of seconds.
"What…"
Riser and the audience were speechless. They knew that Phenex fire wasn't something that could be put off easily like this.
Riser saw that and was stunt for a second before he composed himself again.
"Hum, you must have used some kind of artifact but it will be useless from this point on."
Riser felt shameful that a Yokai like Sullivan could extinguish his fire.
However, he didn't believe that it was his power but an artifact instead that extinguishes his fire.
Sullivan didn't say anything and just looked at him with his Rinnegan.
Riser noticed his unusual eyes this time and it made him feel unexplainable fear.
Sullivan then softly said.
"Do you know pain?"
"What are you talking about? This Riser never knows fear."
Riser said confidently. He would never admit that he fears pain the most. He was immortal but it didn't mean he wouldn't feel pain when he was killed.
Sullivan closed his eyes and then he opened them again. This time his Rinnegan shone with otherworldly light.
"Then I will show you true pain, Bansho Ten'in"
Riser suddenly felt that his body was pulled toward Sullivan. He tried to resist with his magic but all in vain.
Sullivan then grabbed his neck and with great force he smacked Riser on the hard floor.
The impact was so great that the floor exploded.
Riser's neck was crushed completely and his head was sent flying.
"Do you know pain?"
This sentence started to make an impact on everyone.
Of course Riser must know pain right now since his neck was crushed and his head was popped off of its socket.
Riser came back to life again. He then looked at Sullivan in shock. He had never thought he would be killed like that.
"You lowly Yokai! You dare to touch this Riser-sama! I will kill you a million times!"
Riser released his power once again. However, this time his fire changed color. It changed from orange to blue.
The temperature rose up crazily.
Grayfia had to use her ice magic to cool down the stadium otherwise some of the weak devils would die.
Sullivan saw that Riser used blue fire. He then joined his hand in a praying posture.
"Amaterasu."
Black flame swallowed blue fire very quickly. People were shocked once again of what happened on the stage.
Sullivan, who was with Yasaka and Kunou, couldn't help but be satisfied.
He had never thought he would see himself fight and fight the enemy at the same time.
It was the greatest experience he ever had. He could even let his dark side out and no one would question it. They even felt that he was cool.
This was the dream of those who have eighth grade syndrome.
"I feel good."
