Chapter 547 -  Chapter 549: Super True Newcomer

[TL/N: Read my new work - Detective Conan: I'm a Succubus?!]

----

"You're the Pokémon! You're whole families a Pokémon"

Mikoto shot Ash a sharp look.

"I am a human being, a real human!" she declared firmly.

Hearing Mikoto's words, Ash was momentarily confused. However, one thing was clear: Mikoto definitely had the power to rival a Pokémon.

"Then so be it," Ash thought, shrugging it off. "I've been shocked by Pikachu so many times already, and I'm still standing. It's not fatal—I'll just tell Pikachu to go a little easy."

But wait—was Ash really an average person?

The title of Super True Newcomer wasn't just for show.

Could a regular person carry around a 20 kg Pikachu every day without breaking a sweat?

Could an average person lift a 140-pound Larvitar high above their head?

Or casually haul a 999 kg Cosmoem in a backpack while running across regions?

Clearly, Ash wasn't normal, but it was typical of him to measure others by his own extraordinary standards.

Luckily, Mikoto wasn't an ordinary person either.

Do you know how much voltage her Railgun can unleash? A billion volts.

That's 10,000 times Pikachu's 100,000 volts!

In fact, Mikoto's natural lightning could reach tens of billions of volts. Pikachu's strength? At best, it was comparable to her weaker sisters during their initial training phases.

---

At that moment, Pikachu acted on command.

"Pikachu! Use Thunderbolt!"

Ash's command rang out, and a flash of yellow lightning erupted from Pikachu, zapping straight at Mikoto. It struck her squarely, lighting up the air.

And then…

Nothing.

Mikoto tilted her head and examined herself. "That's it?" she thought.

The 100,000 volts felt like a baby's punch to an adult. It wasn't even as irritating as a mosquito bite—at least mosquitoes leave an itch. Pikachu's attack? It barely registered.

Actually, Mikoto felt a slight boost in her strength instead.

"This… Pikachu! I told you to tone it down a bit, but you can't hold back this much!" Ash shouted, flustered.

Pikachu, tail drooping, looked at Ash with wide, innocent eyes.

"Pi-ka... Pi-ka-chu…"

The message was clear: 'I wasn't holding back at all!'

If that was Pikachu's full strength, then who—or rather, what—was this girl? A Zapdos in human form?

Unaware of their thoughts, Mikoto murmured to herself, "A lightning gun… a weaker version should suffice."

She raised her hand, conjuring a crackling white bolt of electricity, and launched it.

Zap!

Pikachu barely had time to react before the thunderbolt struck. Its small body trembled, eyes rolling back as it toppled over, fainting on the spot.

"Alright, that's done."

Mikoto glanced at Pikachu to ensure her attack hadn't caused any harm beyond temporary unconsciousness. Her precision was flawless—Pikachu would be fine after a short rest.

"Kurama, let's go. We're off to find the Ninetails you've been wanting."

Kurama perked up immediately at her words, his earlier disinterest replaced by eager excitement.

As the two prepared to leave, Mikoto turned and added, "But seriously, there are so many Ninetails in this world. How do we find the one you want?"

"Don't worry," Kurama replied confidently. "I've done my homework. There's a legendary Ninetails mentioned in 'The Mystery of the Fog.' It's said to be over two hundred years old. That Ninetails is pitiful—I need to save it!"

Mikoto gave him a skeptical look. "Save it? Who are you trying to fool? Fine, let's go."

With that, they departed, leaving behind a baffled Ash, Brock, and Misty.

Ash turned to Brock, still dazed. "Brock, you know a lot. Have you… ever seen a girl who can discharge electricity like that?"

Brock pondered for a moment before replying, "Yes."

"Really? Where?!"

"In my dreams—there's everything there," Brock deadpanned.

Meanwhile, in the Kanto Alliance headquarters, five figures sat in a tense meeting. These were the Elite Four of the Kanto region, joined by an uninvited guest: Alexander.
