Three days passed in a whirlwind of tumultuous emotions. Zara's heart lay shattered, broken by the only man to whom she had dared give it. She ceased visiting the castle, unwilling to endure the shame that loomed there. Meanwhile, Angela reveled in nights spent with Zayden, their shared passion burning bright behind closed doors. Fortunately for her, Zayden was always cautious, pulling out before their trysts could yield consequences. Not that the idea repelled her, but she was far too young and still living under her father's roof.
