Thinking back to that night, Luther vividly remembered the rabid look in Ethan's eyes and how he felt overly cautious standing next to him by the sea side.
They had agreed to meet somewhere a good distance from the city, so they could discuss undisturbed.
Or so Luther imagined.
"I'm telling you, this B.G is very suspicious, they're expecting me to believe that they'll help me out just in exchange for Cassie?!" He scoffed, he reached into the jacket he had on and pulled out a pack of cigarettes.
"It's a load of bullshit, if you ask me, I think they want to take advantage of the situation and take over my agency. I don't even trust that Grayson heir either, everything is happening all too coincidentally." He went on, stealing glances at Ethan, who hadn't said a word the entire time, but had his hands buried in his pockets.
The sound of the waves trashing didn't help ease his anxiety, after successfully lighting his cigarette, he popped the question that had been on his mind.
