Having not faced him for a long time, Zhang Yang noticeably felt that Yao Ming was different than before.
Last time they faced off, Yao Ming still showed many traits from his time with the Rockets. He played well, he was the best center, with dunks and powerful moves, but always seemed to lack a certain assertiveness. When asking for the ball or during isolation moves, he was too 'gentle'.
