Chapter 37 - Chapter 36: I am super clever (please follow and read)

Every organism has its own genetic lock.

This genetic lock restricts their further development.

Octopuses have three hearts, nine brains, and two memory systems. Their bodies are so perfect they hardly seem like creatures from Planet Xuanxing.

But all octopuses, regardless of gender, are doomed to die after mating.

The genetic lock dictates that even if a male octopus escapes, as soon as mating is complete, its body acts as if a certain condition has been triggered and directly enters a self-destruction mode.

It's not a matter of lacking appetite and gradually starving to death.

It's about self-mutilation, consuming their own tentacles and body until they perish.

Female octopuses, too, will decline and die while waiting for their offspring to hatch.

The true lifespan of an octopus is merely two to three years!

It's not that their intelligence is low.

It's not that their physique is frail.

They just… die too quickly, too soon.
