Chapter 251 - Chapter 149.2 : Water 7!!

Water City, a world-class shipbuilding metropolis, where the finest shipbuilding craftsmen from all over the world gather. This place has been renowned for its shipbuilding technology for centuries.

At this moment, by the coast of Water City.

"Lord Law, we will respond to your call at any time!"

In the water, a group of fishmen spoke with pride. "This city is filled with canals, making it our fishmen's domain!"

Next to them was a ship— a ship with a completed coating. Law had come over from the Golden Dragon ship aboard this vessel.

"Mm."

Law nodded lightly.

Although they were assigned to execute the mission, a group of fishmen had been dispatched to assist them.

Ian, you're so gentle now!

"Well then, I wish you all success in your mission!"

After leaving those words of blessing, the fishmen took the coated ship and dived into the sea.

"Well then."

Law turned around and looked at his two partners. "What should we do next?"

Enel stood at the edge of the coast, lost in thought as he gazed at the scenery of Water City.

It was his first time stepping onto the islands of the Blue Sea, unlocking a whole new achievement in his life.

"Oh! It feels pretty good, huh?"

Compared to Enel, Viola was much livelier. Her eyes were wide open as she used her Clairvoyance to observe the city. "It's quite lively here."

"Ian told us not to rush into action."

Law said leisurely, "We'll wait for them to make the first move, and then take advantage of the chaos they cause to strike. Tsk, I really can't tell if this guy is cautious or reckless."

If he's cautious, then he's directly leading the attack on Enies Lobby, one of the three major organizations under the World Government. Attacking it is undoubtedly a slap in the government's face.

But if he's reckless, he's being so careful here in Water City, even though there's no one here who could stop him.

"Then let's have some fun on this island first!"

Viola said with a grin. "Consider it a vacation."

Law nodded lightly, it didn't seem like a bad idea.

"Hmph."

However, Enel suddenly snorted. "Boring, I don't have time to play with you mortals."

He turned and walked toward the direction of the city.

"Hey, you!"

Law frowned slightly.

As expected, without Ian's restraint, this guy was difficult to deal with.

"Don't forget what Ian said!"

Hearing Law's words, Enel's body paused for a moment. "No need for you to say it, just call my name when it's time for action."

Before his words finished, this guy already turned into a thunderbolt and vanished along the coast.

"Hey! Bastard!"

Law could only shout at the top of his lungs. "Remember not to cause trouble on the island!"

That guy had a terrible temper. If they weren't careful, he might destroy the entire island.

He could definitely do it, there was no doubt about the destructive power of the Rumble-Rumble fruit.

No one responded. Enel had already disappeared, leaving no trace.

"Such a bastard!"

Law couldn't help but curse.

Doesn't he have any team spirit?

"What about us?"

Viola blinked.

Law's expression instantly returned to calm. "I'll go probe Fishman Tom's bottom line. As for you, feel free to roam around."

"Huh?"

Viola's face stiffened. "What are you talking about, you little brat! I'm a civilian staff member! I don't have any combat ability!"

Law glanced at the woman with disdain.

She was indeed a civilian staff member, but she was by no means lacking in combat ability.

Her "Stare-Stare Fruit" already provided some combat power, not to mention she had learned the Six Powers—though she wasn't a master, she could at least use them. That was more than enough to surpass a large portion of people on the seas.

"If you run into trouble, just call out Enel's name."

Law spoke succinctly. "That guy can hear you."

Ian had briefly introduced them to Enel's abilities.

With extremely long-range attacks and a "Kenbunshoku" (Observation Haki) that could cover an entire island, as long as Viola didn't run into someone too powerful, the moment she called for help, Enel's attack would be there.

As for whether Enel would help, Law had no doubts.

That was Ian's intention.

Law dashed off quickly, heading to find Fishman Tom. The thing Ian wanted was in the hands of that fishman.

Viola, fuming, pouted and finally entered Water 7 on her own.

Since she was already here, she might as well enjoy herself.

While the three of them fought their own battles, over on the Golden Dragon.

"Ga ba ba ba ba! Even we know what Enies Lobby means to the World Government!"

Brogy laughed heartily. "Ian, are you sure it's fine to just charge straight in with us?"

"Yeah,"

Dorry nodded in agreement. "This kind of behavior is no different from directly declaring war on the World Government."

"What are you talking about?" Ian merely responded casually, "We're just going to Enies Lobby to find someone, how could it be considered war?"

The two giants exchanged a glance before bursting into laughter simultaneously.

They had already understood Ian's determination and had felt his friendship!

Since his friend had decided to go this far, what more could they say?

"Then get ready, Dorry!"

Brogy laughed heartily, "This time, it's the moment to decide the victor!"

"The winner will definitely be me!"

Dorry's laughter grew louder.

After ninety years of fierce battles, the moment to settle the score had finally arrived.

Next, they would base their victory on who had made the most impact in the attack on Enies Lobby.

Ian slightly curved the corners of his mouth. "Then I'll be the judge."

In Water 7, on a certain high platform.

Law lazily leaned against the railing, looking down.

Below was the vast sea, but at this moment, a few people were diligently working.

At the forefront was an exceptionally large, muscular fish-man with yellow skin.

He was leading two disciples.

One was a man with blue hair, wearing only a pair of triangular swimming trunks in a rather bizarre fashion.

The other man appeared older, with blue-violet hair and a much more tidy appearance.

Along with them, there was a middle-aged woman with yellow hair, somewhat overweight, holding a bottle of liquor, drinking while working.

Apart from these four, there was also a frog working.

This group of four, along with the frog, made up the famous Tom's Workshop in Water 7.

What they were working on now was laying down tracks on the sea.

Law had already done his research.

Many years ago, the fish-man Tom was sentenced to death by the judicial ships sent from Enies Lobby for building ships for the Pirate King.

However, he presented a proposal called the Sea Train, claiming he would create a train that would connect the entire sea!

The judges acknowledged his plan and agreed that if he succeeded in creating the Sea Train, his crime would be pardoned.

And now, Tom was diligently working on the construction.

"A train running on the sea?"

Law murmured softly. "I think the airplane idea Ian proposed is more practical."

After all, the cost of building tracks on the sea compared to building an airport and making airplanes would surely be much cheaper, right?

Not to mention the Grand Line's climate is so unpredictable that airplanes often can't fly too far.

Also, they lack the capacity to carry much cargo.

But.

Law looked at the bright smiles on the faces of the people below.

They sure look happy.

I hope you won't be too disappointed later.

I'll try to be gentle about it.
