She leaned in close, eyes gleaming with a wicked gleam.
"And then I want you to throw her away. Leave her in pieces. Ruined."
Kai let out a low whistle, clearly entertained. "Damn, sis… you really know how to hold a grudge."
Sienna laughed softly…dark and hollow. "This isn't a grudge, Kai. This is justice."
After his chat with Sienna, Kai let out a low whistle, a smirk tugging at the corner of his lips. He walked out of the facility and straight toward his sleek, black sports car–expensive and loud enough to turn heads when it roared to life.
He already knew where to go.
Leia's apartment wasn't far, and more importantly, he already knew her well. They'd crossed paths more than once, and she'd always treated him like family.
When he rang the bell, the door opened almost immediately.
"Kai?" Leia blinked, surprised and then broke into a warm smile before pulling him into a hug. "What are you doing here?"
Kai hugged her back briefly but didn't waste time.
