Dihenix opened his beak, a ball of concentrated flames forming. The attack shot at Lucas, who, in response, leapt up into the air.
The newly formed abomination containing the melted remains of the fallen villains followed Lucas.
The two of them looked at each other, still in the air. Lucas pulled back his arm, an energy formulating around it.
"50% Qi release!" Yet another immense force shot towards the monster from Lucas' hand.
But this time, the monster saw it coming. Two large flappers grew out of the unrecognizable back, allowing the monster to evade the attack and gain flight.
'Wings?!' Lucas expressed astonishment. He had not seen such a mindless creature adapt so efficiently, especially against him.
But he was broken out of his thoughts as he began falling towards the ground. "Blood manipulation; Instant wings!"
Two large wings of a dark red maroon colour sprung out of the boy's back, covering the ground below him in red.
'It's been so long since I grew wings. It hurts a bit...' He felt a wince of pain from his back, though he didn't pay much of it.
He looked in front of him to meet the abomination he once defeated. He knew that it had become stronger, faster, better...
And beside the abomination, a bird with fiery feathers flew, ready to strike at any moment.
'Damn...' Lucas' energy began seeping out of his body, in preparation to shift his phase. 'This is a pretty unfair match up!'
