Chapter 6 - The truth of the past life part 2

Sebastian opens the folder, and his face changes from shock to anger as Leo begins to speak.

"1 month ago, Oliver was supposedly traveling for 2 weeks," Leo said in an icy voice.

While the Ashford had dark faces.

"The day before he returned, he went to a clandestine hospital to have an urgent operation to wash off his permanent mark. After 2 hours of surgery and 1 hour of rest in the hospital, he returned home pale, pretending to have the flu and wearing a turtleneck."

"Soon after Oliver returned home, my family began to pressure me and use filial piety to get an invitation to the banquet where Alex was drugged."

"Enough!" Isabella said in tears.

"How far do you have to go to slander your brother?"

"You were always jealous of Oliver, and you set up this whole situation to ruin the reputation of a poor omega! What kind of monster are you? I refuse to have a son like that! I will cut all ties with you!" Isabella cried like a heartbroken mother, not believing she had given birth to a monster like Leo.

If someone from the outside saw the situation, they would reprimand Leo as a bad son, a heartless monster for slandering a poor omega.

The Lancaster family was almost believing Isabella's performance, everyone except Sebastian, who was looking at the folder Leo gave him while listening to the farce.

"Silence!" Sebastian said, shouting angrily.

"Let him speak until the end, besides wanting to beat him and threaten him with filial piety, what else can you do?! Let him speak until the end!"

"My youngest son is right. Let him speak until the end. If what he said is true or a lie, we will check later." Nathaniel said, letting a bit of his Alpha aura come out.

The Ashford felt suffocated, they wanted to rip Leo's mouth off, but they couldn't do anything in that situation except let him talk.

"I had a hard time getting the invitation for Oliver," Leo said, his ears turning slightly red as he remembered exchanging him for a kiss with Alex while he was drunk and leaving as soon as he got it.

Obviously, he denied everything to Alex the next day, and Alex thought he must have dreamed it. Leo wouldn't admit to kissing him, not after having his heart broken after finding out about his engagement.

"After Mr. Alex went into heat, he was immediately sent to the room with the appropriate medicine, but the medicine didn't seem to have much effect, so I went to the pharmacy to buy more suppressants while I called the doctor to see him,"

Leo said as he remembered Alex looking at him with a wolfish look. Leo managed to convince him to take a medicine to suppress the heat temporarily and go take a shower while he ran off to get more suppressants.

"When I got back, Alex was already with Oliver, and, since no emergency call was not made according to the hotel rules and the fact that Alex had asked that no one disturb him before going up to the room, I was unable to get a spare key."

"After that, I asked for a room next to the boss (Alex) and waited to help him if needed," Leo said with pain in his eyes, remembering that he had a high fever that same night while waiting for the investigation of who had drugged Alex and had that dream.

Even if he investigated who had drugged Alex, the result would make little difference, because the person in the dark had already achieved his goal, and Alex would be forced to marry if he marked the omega, because this was a law of the Omega Protection Association.

If Alex did not marry the omega in question, he would be arrested and his future ruined.

"The result of the investigation was that a waiter was hired temporarily because there was not enough for the banquet."

"Based on the waiter's description, who coincidentally was an Alpha student who had come to replace a Beta friend who was sick. Even though the person was wearing a hood, mask, and sunglasses, he faintly smelled pheromones, pheromones that smelled the same as Oliver's."

"Something that Oliver didn't worry about, because he thought the waiter was a Beta."

"Well, in order to prepare for the party, the waiter had taken suppressants beforehand and used a spray to mask his pheromones. After all, he was just doing a favor for a friend and didn't want to risk ending up in heat and getting involved with one of the Omegas at the party. If that happened, the Omega's family would get rid of him so that no one would find out. After all, his status wasn't that high. His family was a normal middle-class family and didn't even come close to these giants."

"This same waiter admitted to having been bribed to drug a drink in Mr. Alex's glass," Leo said, his face getting blacker and blacker.

"It's normal to have unstable pheromones after a permanent mark wash, but this can be solved by taking suppressants." The doctor said.

After all this talk, it was obvious that it was all a plan by Oliver to make fools of the Lancaster and marry Alex.

"And about how Oliver got pregnant…" Leo continued.

"Enough!" Amelia shouted.

She couldn't let Leo say another word. The fact that Oliver drugged Alex might be revealed, if he had marked Oliver, he would be forced to marry his brother one way or another. After all, the Lancaster couldn't admit such a big stain on their reputation.

But about the rest… how could he know? Only a few days had passed, and that person must have certainly cleaned up all traces of what happened, after all, the reputation of more than one family was at stake.

But if her brother had found out the truth, the consequences would be unimaginable. This could destroy her family! That damn beta! She couldn't allow that lowly being to ruin her family's reputation!

Amalia was about to rip Leo's mouth off.

AC* (author's comment): Hello, little angels, sorry for this author's absence. My computer broke down, and I had to take it to the repair shop, and I was super worried about losing the files with the planning of the chapters and seasons of this and my other book that I will release later.

I already have several seasons planned, but I intend to release them later because I want to wait to get used to writing at least two chapters a day.

Since I write the chapters daily before publishing, the rest of the time I am planning the next seasons.

Yes, we will have several seasons of the story, and I am also practicing my character design because I intend to create a Webtoon of this web novel. I intend to finish writing the first season at least before releasing the Webtoon so that I can plan properly, because I will post 1 chapter a week, unlike the web novel that will have 1 or 2 chapters a day just for this book.

But getting back to the subject, the technician said that I needed to replace the computer's motherboard and that the part was out of stock, but I managed to transfer all the files to my external HD before formatting the computer, which partially solved my problem. Now I'm going to write as many chapters as possible and save them in advance so I can keep updating the chapters while I wait for the part to arrive.

My problem that I haven't been able to solve yet with the computer is the connection to the screen, which has a bad connection and could stop working at any moment. I think you already understand the situation.

I just want you to understand that I'm going to do my best to keep up with the daily updates.
