Maxwell got to Budding Rose Hotel an hour after leaving the hospital, but couldn't get in as some people were being wheeled out.
A few customers rushed out when they heard those in the executive suites had food poisoning.
As people who chose the hotel for its reputation of being safe, they were taken aback by the news.
Standing in the middle of the reception, a robust man sweated profusely under the air conditioning as he tried to calm the worried customers.
"Ladies and gentlemen, let's not overreact, please. This food poisoning couldn't have come from us. We get our food and drinks from very safe and reliable sources."
However, his earnest attempt to calm them only got the opposite reaction as numerous people yelled at him indignantly.
"Customers got food poisoning, doesn't that mean your food and drinks aren't coming from the right source?"
"That's right. I pay such a huge sum of money to be here, not to be wheeled out on a stretcher!"
