Reon walked a little farther into the forest until he came upon a massive boulder—roughly five meters high and eight meters wide—nestled between twisted trees and mossy earth.
He narrowed his eyes.
"Hmm… this is it," he muttered, placing a hand on its rough surface. "Looks like an ordinary rock, but this is where the Illusion Formation begins."
From behind, a soft, familiar voice chimed in.
"Master, you've arrived."
Cloudia, now in her small fox form, fluttered gently onto his shoulder, her snowy tails wrapping around his neck like a soft scarf.
"Yeah. Good work, Cloudia." Reon replied simply, his gaze fixed forward.
"If Master thinks I've done well... shouldn't I get a reward later?" Cloudia asked softly, her voice laced with playful charm.
Reon smirked. "Of course~"
He refocused on the formation and activated his "Identify" skill.
A faint spiritual glow shimmered across his irises as detailed information about the formation unfolded before him.
