Chapter 240 - Chapter 240 - Watching the Battle

"Is it you again?"

Seeing the sudden appearance of Minato Namikaze, Roshi gritted his teeth in frustration.

However, Minato didn't respond to him, instead turning to Seimei, "Leave this battle to me now. You go rest!"

Hearing this, Seimei didn't hesitate. He simply nodded, then vanished to the edge of the battlefield with a "Body Flicker Technique."

Minato was slightly surprised by Seimei's swift retreat, but then he simply shook his head with a smile and didn't comment further.

"Damn it! You all are looking for death!"

Seeing that no one was acknowledging him, Roshi roared furiously and charged directly at Minato.

But Minato, who was far more experienced, reacted faster than Seimei, who was now using the three-tomoe Sharingan.

This kind of attack Seimei had dodged before, so Minato was more than capable of avoiding it as well.

Just as Roshi was about to strike, Minato's figure flickered, neatly dodging the attack, and then, with another flicker, moved far away from Roshi.

Scanning the area, Minato observed the ground littered with lava and flames. He bit his right thumb, then quickly formed the hand seals: "Boar—Dog—Bird—Monkey—Ram," using his blood to cast "Summoning Technique!"

As a burst of chakra smoke cleared, a giant, red-skinned toad with a body covered in bumps appeared on the field.

Holding a giant pipe in his mouth and wearing a blue vest with a white bandage wrapped around his waist, the toad had a short sword slung across his side.

It was none other than Gamabunta, one of the three wise toads of Mount Myoboku!

Upon appearing, he seemed relatively calm at first.

However, after standing for just a moment, he suddenly jumped up, grumbling angrily, "Ouch! It's burning hot! Where on earth is this?"

Looking down, he saw the flames and lava covering the ground.

His eyes widened immediately.

If his dislike for water that caused him itchiness was a one, his dislike for the inherently dangerous fire would be a ten.

Without a moment's hesitation, Gamabunta formed hand seals and unleashed a large-scale Water Release.

The next moment, a waterfall-like torrent of water descended from above, dousing a large portion of the flames and lava on the ground.

The water collided with the fire, creating a sharp hissing sound and a huge plume of steam.

The steam quickly formed a dense fog, drastically reducing visibility in the area.

However, this effect didn't last long. When Gamabunta landed, the strong impact blew the mist away.

He crouched down, took a deep puff from his pipe, released a huge smoke ring, and looked over at Minato.

Seeing Minato waving at him, Gamabunta grumbled, "Kid, don't you know I hate fire? You dare summon me to a place like this? And..."

Without waiting for Minato's reply, he pointed at Roshi, "I don't want to deal with such a troublesome guy."

Clearly, he had already noticed Roshi's unique nature.

However, this was more talk than action, as he could have easily dispelled the summoning and returned to Mount Myoboku if he truly disliked it.

Minato knew Gamabunta's temperament, so he was respectful and placating, saying, "Yes, yes, I understand, Gamabunta-sama. It's my fault this time. The thing is, I'm not very suited for an enemy like this, so I really need your help."

"Hmph!"

Gamabunta only snorted in response, then turned to face Roshi.

With such a massive figure staring him down, even someone as seasoned as Roshi couldn't help but feel a bit intimidated.

However, the current situation left him no room for retreat.

Without further hesitation, Roshi stamped his foot, shooting forward like a cannonball, using his own body as a weapon aimed directly at Gamabunta.

Seeing this, Gamabunta shouted, "Annoying guy, stay away from me!"

As he spoke, he took a deep breath and then blew out forcefully.

Immediately, a gale-force wind erupted from his mouth, with strength comparable to Seimei's Wind Release: Great Breakthrough technique at maximum chakra capacity.

The wind impeded Roshi's advance, but undeterred, he quickly formed seals with his hands, unleashing a technique—"Lava Release: Flowing Lava Rock Technique!"

In front of him, seven or eight balls of lava materialized, which he directed towards Gamabunta's wide-open mouth.

Gamabunta's mouth was his most vulnerable spot, so he wasn't about to take this attack head-on. Instead, he leaped into the air.

Then he quickly formed seals with his hands, seemingly preparing to unleash a jutsu.

Seeing this, Minato seemed to anticipate something and used the "Body Flicker Technique" to retreat to the edge of the battlefield.

Roshi, however, was baffled by his movement.

In the next instant, an enormous water sphere descended from above, hurtling straight toward him.

This was no ordinary water sphere. It was Gamabunta's "Water Release: Iron Cannonball," filled with dense chakra.

Roshi reacted swiftly, dodging to the side and barely avoiding the strike.

But soon after, another water sphere came crashing down, then a third and a fourth…

In a matter of seconds, Gamabunta launched seven or eight water spheres.

It was as if he was mirroring Roshi, who had previously launched the same number of lava balls at him, with his own equal return of water spheres.

Unfortunately, while Gamabunta managed to evade all attacks, Roshi wasn't as fortunate.

Despite his best efforts, he managed to dodge only the first four water spheres, and the remaining ones slammed directly into him.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

A series of muffled explosions echoed.

The power of the Iron Cannonball wasn't just in the water; the spheres might appear soft, but when they struck the ground, they hit with the force of cannonballs.

Even from the edge of the battlefield, Seimei could feel the ground shaking from the impact.

However, even this fierce onslaught hadn't been enough to kill Roshi.

Seimei's gaze moved to the area where the water spheres had bombarded, and through the dust cloud, he could see a figure rising slowly.

It was Roshi.

At this point, his lava armor had been shattered, replaced by a layer of extremely thick, dark red chakra.

An intense, oppressive aura emanated from him, making everyone around feel as if they were bearing a heavy weight upon their chests.

Within the rising chakra smoke, Seimei vaguely saw the silhouette of a red-furred, roaring ape.

Seimei knew this was the true form of the Four-Tails—Son Goku.

"Roar—"

An inhuman roar escaped Roshi's mouth.

Following this, a chakra-formed tail appeared behind him, and his aura intensified significantly.

But that wasn't the end. Soon after the first tail solidified, a second tail took form.

Seeing this, even Seimei felt his heart skip a beat.
